BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

Wdym not make shit clear when by site standards it quite literally qualifies to be a universe as it’s stated multiple times and to say stuff like starry sky is just visuals is weird cope and extreme double standards. Gremmy imagining outer space also means that outer space has to had existed it’s not like he’s inventing the entire idea of outer space it’d be so extremely out of character to just suddenly invent such a “complex idea”. So many things contradict the idea of planetary realms and yet so many people cope and use mental gymnastics to justify otherwise.
Honestly I don't even know if it is worth it trying convince people that the blatantly non-planetary realms aren't planetary. A written and signed explicit statement from Kubo will maybe suffice I guess.

it doesn't actually negate durability in any special way. If you consider having a sharp sword durability negation, then every person in bleach except for Yoruichi and Juushiro have that
It's not really the same. The sword can't even have a sheathe because it would cut it. That's abnormal. The only reason it doesn't sound like dura negation is because of his logic of it being a really sharp sword, but if we look at the facts

He considered it a one tap kill blade. Standing there deflected lille with no pressure applied. It can't even have a sheathe (meaning it cuts by not even having force applied), and constant dialogue about how sharp it is, and cleaving everything it touches like butter. t's more than just a sharp sword. It's hax sharp

Let's discuss how Kubo will make Isshin use his Mugetsu against Yhwach to revenge Masaki, he will fail and lose all his powers, but he doesn't regret it because he already lost his powers in the past for the sake of her, so he didn't mind doing that again, while Ryuken will be tagteaming Uryu against Haschwalth, Aizen bringing down the palace (it will happen in the anime) and Mayuri dreaming that he surpassed Kisuke after getting saved by an asspull against Pernida

are there actually any debunks to the bankai feat outside of what's currently accepted (copium) for the cosmology?

Another reason Askin is da goat

It just depends on how you consider the worlds in bleach, if they are uni I think the calc can get to 3C or around that, if they are planets the feat will be planetary, there's nothing more about it
U will be able to use that in debates outside the wiki
Yea it's not end of the world if something ain't accepted on vsb. Plenty of shit they don't accept i do and use in other places to debate. It would be nice if they did, but this place ain't really the be all end all
Let's be real this does help further sell Planet level Bleach being blatant as **** in the general vs sphere then the usual 50-50 spiel

the whole episode was actually an outlier, the verse is consistently island level, any higher is inconsistent.
1. The seireitei isn't actually that big. The statements are from unreliable characters, and we have to use the visuals so the seireitei is 1 city block big.
2. Las noches can be pixel scaled to only be as big as a small town, so it's not that big either.
3. The soul society is clearly a smaller-than-normal city that's just the seireitei and some stuff around it because in the Color+ book there is niche quote that eludes to this being the case, so it trumps all the other stuff.

So in conclusion:
  • Las noches destruction = inconsistent and never proven to be true
  • the sokyoku is the power of a million zanpakuto, so clearly the sokyoku is 1 million x a shinigami's zanpakuto, and there are some which are barely wall level.

Agree FRA

I'm probably one of the few that don't care about how high the verse is ap wise, but i care if the scaling between characters makes sense. I guess when I see the stats jump all over the place for 5+ years I only care about stabilization at that point
