Five Nights at Freddy's Downgrades

i don’t exactly know what happened but i think people are misinterpreting the books as being 100% canon for like the billionth time when they are just supposed to be loosely related/symbolic

in these books the animatronics apparently survive getting blown up in a lake filled with gasoline or something and some random dude pulls off a tier 6 feat with agony (which afton uses regularly)
Scott confirmed Frights is canon

it’s “canon” in the same way the other books are “canon”, the universes are connected but they aren’t the same at all

Expect silver eyes trilogy is a different universe sure but Fazbear Frights and Pizzaplex books are in the sane universe as games

the animatronics dont really fight by decking you in the mouth so they dont have many physical strength feats

I mean, fnaf 2 foxy has a lot of strengh to jump from the middle of the hallway to the guard face, and sinse he is in the Air his entire Kinecktic energy is probable applicable for his jumpscare, what should scale to the other animatronics from the game

nah
  • Kinetic Energy based on Movement Speed is case by case: Fiction often treats the speed with which a character can move himself as unrelated to their attack power. As such feats like just running or carrying a small object, like another character, should only be used if the fiction has made clear that the speed of the movement correlates to the character's power or if the character uses the fast moving object to attack. Calculating the energy necessary for moving large structures at great speeds, using the speed things move as a secondary effect of an attack, throwing objects at great speeds etc. are all acceptable methods of quantifying a characters power regardless.

without kinetic energy we really can’t calc that
We can calc the kinectic energy of Fox jumping on the guard face by just usig the speed and finding out how much fox should weight. And thinking here this would be able to give them some good numbers on dura sinse we can guess fox survived that jump too

Some of my friends are cooking Fnaf calculations and they found several peak human and a lot of superhuman speed feats. Plus the SCOOPER and Ballora is likely 9-B too so we should just wait for them to be done

Tbf having regen or certain immortality types can get around that I suppose, but that clearly wouldn't work in this instance lol

kinetic energy is NOT VALID GRAHHHH
Context based, It isn't valid to get the full body kinetic energy of someone sinse rarely a character would the full use of their bodies in a atack, but everything has kinetic energy, It's a matter of "how much of their mass actually was used for It" situation and less of "Let's ignore kinetic energy exist"

Like, For the scooper It's clearly using high speed strikes to hook Itself in the anomatronics and pull their insides out, and ballora is taking punches from this thing before It could "Hook" on her

And look at the "trowing objects at high speeds" foxy jumping on the guard is literaly him trowing him self at a target in intention of causing harm

I do think this kinnetic energy values are usable, the scooper for clearly having It's force delivered from speed abd LS separetedly (hooking and puling) and foxy for trowing a object(him self) with the intention of harm, otherwise he probable. Could just run into the guard face like the other animatronics do(Foxy is ecentric with his kills)

A exemple that probable wouldn't be usable would be something like tring to get Spring trap AP from the speed he moves in the vents, sinse he never actually used his speed for a atack like foxy jump

Another one I would be against and probable unussable would be the puppet, thanks to him actually beingh able to fly she probable don't kill by flying at high speeds to the target just fly over to them

But foxy? He straight up is using his jump to fall mouth first on the guard head to kill him, his entire body would be slamed against the poor guy

And foxy would need to survive this jump (Funny enoug, similar to Opila bird surviving the fall into the ball pit)
