Animation Hot Takes

F is for Family is the greatest adult cartoon I've ever seen (I haven't seen much adult cartoons to be fair) the comedy is good, it's relatable as ****, and the story is good. The only thing that I didn't like was the ending. It wasn't bad, just underwhelming. It doesn't tie up any of the loose ends that previously existed.
 
Steven Universe is a top tier cartoon. Not only of modern cartoons, but cartoons in general.

The whole second half of Death Note (after L's death) was ruined by the anime. The manga of Death Note is a f*cking masterpiece.

Yes.

Just no. I'm tired of hearing this take. Death Note was garbage since episode 10. There is no human on earth who actually give hype for those episodes. The show was marketed as L vs Light. From like ep 10 we see this boring drawn out crime drama without L vs Light because Light gets his Death Note taken. He then gets it back at like ep 25. From this point on we expect L vs Light to come back before Light immediately kills L. The whole reason why people dislike ep 25 - 37 is because of the fact Light lost his Death Note. I'd actually say 10 - 25 is actually worse than 25 - 37. It's absolute dog shit. Death Note didn't get ruined by the removal of L. It got ruined by the removal of Light's death note.

I think you misunderstood my comment. I didn't said that 25-37 is worse than 10-25, i said that the second half of the story was ruined by the anime. The Mello and Near's arc is brilliant in the manga, arguably on par with L's arc. I agree with you that 10-25 is by far the weakest part of the series.

I won't disagree with that. It did. It does have funny moments at times, but it going out of its way to try and bash the original series at times is why I think it has way more misses than hits.

I wouldn't say it goes out of it's way to bash the original show.

TTG goes out of it's way to bash the fans of the original show. That is very obvious if you watched episodes like "Return of Slade" or that crossover with Thundercats ROAR!

The original Broly movie is not as bad as everyone says and DBS: Broly is not as great as everyone says (the new movie is still better though).

Brother Bear (2003) is a criminally underrated film.

Not really a hot take, but Haibane Renmei is a very unique anime that not many people know about. Definitely recommended.
