Battle for 4th Place 8-A non-smurf: The Hunter vs Photoshop Flowey (0-0-5)

The Hunter's ability to permakill immortals and beings with resurrection wouldnt affect Flowey?

Why so? The Hunter maintains their memories when their time resets in bloodborne
 
Also, the time reset is caused by himself and has never encountered someone else or something else resetting time outside of his control, it shouldn't be assumed that because he resurrects and remembers things that a outside force could do the same and he'd still be able to remember.

Wont work, it required Flowey to kill the Hunter to absorb his soul, but when the Hunter dies time is automatically reset to the previous state before the fight began, so Flowey wouldnt have the opportunity to absorb the Hunter's soul

As Omega Flowey, im pretty sure he doesn't need to kill them.

he had the 6 souls before becoming Asriel, and was able to absorb all the monsters without killing them.

Absorption (Can absorb SOULs of defeated humans)

The 6 souls were absorbed from defeated humans, and Asriel doing that is irrelevant as this is not Asriel

But asriel didn't absorb anyone??? Flowey with 6 human souls absorbed living monsters, which turned him into asriel. Omega Flowey should be capable of the same as he did in the pacifist run.
 
Problem with that is that monster souls are canonically much, much weaker than human souls, if he could do that to a human soul there would have been no reason why he would need to defeat frisk to absorb their soul

He wasn't trying to defeat frisk to absorb their soul though, he wanted to kill frisk over and over again to humor himself. he would have likely gotten bored eventually and done so, but he was too busy toying with frisk to do that.
 
Wasn't Flowey just ******* with Frisk, for lack of a better word? Like, he just wanted to screw with them as long as possible until he got bored with Frisk, and the only reason that Omega Flowey was defeated was because the souls rebelled against him?
 
Again, The Hunter can literally just think and he gets auto-reset, so even if Flowey tried to do that it wouldnt work

why? Flowey had control over the souls for the first half of the fight, why would flowey allow the hunter to reset time? once flowey absorbs the hunter he shouldn't be capable of doing such.

What? The souls very clearly have some form of sentience even after being controlled by Flowey, plus for Flowey to do that he would have to override the Moon Presence's contract which he is nowhere near capable of doing

Flowey had full control for a while, but he wasn't fused with the souls.

Asriel was fused with Chara's soul, technically giving him full control of that soul. Flowey with the 6 human souls weren't full fused meaning they did have some sense of sentience. but the only ever showed this once frisk began asking them for help. So unless The Hunter begins bargaining with Flowey's 6 souls to turn on him, the souls are going to stay under his control.

Will the Moon Presence's contract kick in once he's put into a situation he cant activate it himself?

Okay? Theres still the issue of Flowey only ever absorbing human souls after they were defeated, the monster souls feat wouldnt apply as monster souls are weaker

Yes, its the reason why time gets reset every time he dies
 
In theory, The Hunter can put Flowey down, however, Flowey likes to save-scum like a ***** and can do a RESET on the fly. In theory, Flowey can put The Hunter down via soul absorb, however, it is unknown if The Hunter's own stuff can save him from this. Both can technically win against each other, but a lot of factors make things stay at a standstill, so... I vote Incon. For now, at least.
 
The hunter's stuff can save him yeah, flowey isnt overriding the moon presence

So basically they just beat the shit out of each other forever
