Also, I laugh at the irony of Kratos not doing things in a cutscene being used as an argument in the same thread where people say that Asriel will do the opposite of his single showcase in this form, without a hint of self reflection.

Maybe because the only reason why Asriel didn't use true reset as a first move was because the player's determination literally made him unable to use,its literally VERY in character for Asriel to open with a true reset

Expect Asriel doesn't know the danger Kratos possesses? Kratos does know. That's a pretty fundamental difference.

Unless you're saying Asriel does that to random old men, I don't see a reason the first second he glances at Kratos he would do that.

They did to a 10 years old (who they also thought was their sibling) they are absolutely doing that to KRATOS of all people
