what if your powers are not instant but immeasurable aka faster than passive

would it work?
The moment you think of harming him. If the action you WOULD take might result in Yogiri sustaining fatal damage. His ability will instantly kill you at immeasurable speed, without Yogiri even knowing who, how, and why you are trying to harm him.

HRE immeasurable speed gets outspeed by Instant Death.

So yeah, it wouldn't work.

what about irrelevant speed? (Aka faster than immeasurable?)

Does resistant to resistance negation also help.

assuming your already resistant to death manipulation but you also have resistance to resistance negation to back it up
Yogiri is treated as countless dimensionality in this wiki, so I don't think mere conventional hax matter to him unless you are higher dimensionality.

But assuming those haxes are in equal dimensionality as his Instant Death, then maybe those combinations might help to resist his Instant Death.

Do you have a good prediction of when the story will end?
As Nik did say, the story could possibly be supposed to end at vol. 12. But the Editor ask the Author to milk the series a bit more, and Fujitaka-sensei agree.

According to a post I can see (cuz I don't have a paypal account to buy a subscription in Fanbox to see private post AKA vol. 13), the Author says that the end would probably start at Vol. 14.

it does seem a bit boring that he just one shots everyone.

i kinda liked it where you said he uses tomochikas sword. Since he’s actually putting effort.

don’t you think. Since if you just oneshot everyone where’s the fun in that.

It's Nik who says that.
I haven't read volume 12 to keep my experience fresh in case vol. 12 official translation came.

For me, the most exciting part of ID is the author's cosmological explanation of the nature of the world. And I madly respect the anthropic principle of the verse.

Yogiri one shooting everyone does become boring at the later end of the story (because we have become used to it), the author even commented he did not expect to get this far with a character who can one-shot everyone.

To keep it fresh, the author swap with different perspective throughout the story (UEG, Hanakawa, Euphemia, etc) and use all kind of new (and busted overpowered) hax for the villain to keep it entertaining, even going as far as to show how an encounter with Yogiri result in many kinds of unique-interesting situation.

I do agree, Yogiri putting an effort and limiting his Instant Death to force him to use Tomochika's sword is another refreshing instance for his character and story

even though it sounds like it’s against the point of the story I kinda wish to see an opponent being able to survive yogiris instant death thing

i mean yogiri says he wouldn’t be surprised if such a thing happened.

it would a nice thing just to see one person being able to survive it.

I'm curious about true from yogiri's what is he like and also Yogyiri's last seal has not been shown
Technically, Yogiri hasn't sealed his power in the past arc. And he does not look like that much different.

So I doubt releasing all his seals would result in anything different other than more variety usage for his Instant Death. (Judging based on 2nd Gate).

Yeah, when tier 0 characters finally came to Instant Death.

hope there is an increase in cosmology, because the strongest Japanese fiction isekai at this time are ruphas and alovenus ( woman stronger )

I hope yogiri becomes the strongest isekai character

Yeah maybe yogiri will meet a stronger opponent than before

From reading through volume 11 Q&A section, it seems like Yogiri will still be able to do it.
Speaking of Q&A.
How do we treat those in the wiki? Because in vol. 7 QnA; Yogiri says it's not impossible for him to slay/kill an opponent's ability, unlike merely destroying the effect like what he did to Shion in vol. 4.

We just treat it as power nullification as far I am concern. I mean he always able to kill ability/ skill. the only reason why he rarely kill ability is because Battle Soul system is tied to the souls of a person. So killing them would mean killing the person as well.

Ok, but I mean how does the wiki treat Q&A? Are those invalid as sources of reference? Or we can use those as justification for upgrading a character?

I honestly do not wish to live in the instant death verse simply because

think of this. You wish yogiri no harm but think of harming him but you don’t actually mean to do it.

boom dead

Ah, not really.
If your resolve is not firm and your predetermine action on him wouldn't bring lethal/fatal to his life, his Instant Death wouldn't automatically activate. But he still would know that you mean harm to him and become wary of you. At that point, it's up to Yogiri.

I'm more worried about the gods and other transcendental being there. Hiruko(a god) pet that could eat people at immeasurable speed is scary.
