Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

I reduced his block from indefinite to 1 year, as he may not have seen my earlier warning message, and seemed like somebody very inexperienced rather than malicious. I also left his message wall open, so he can respond to me if he wishes.
 
Coolboy, if you want to be banned, you have the option of asking a staff member in private to do it for you, which would be good if you want to cool down for a bit.
 
Hey so, i know this is not the best place to ask but can you guys ban me until April 6th? No, i don't have any personal issue, nor my temperament caught me up, nor even make a chaos here, i just want to stay away from vsbw for relaxation and taking my time for preparing stuff irl

I already said that i'm going away started from yesterday but i'm still coming back here lel

Honestly, i don't see why you need to be banned. Just don't come to this place for a few days.
 
There are browser plugins which can restrict access to certain sites for the record, if you set up them, takes 20 minutes tops.

Not particularly tough to get.
 
That is far too crude and offensive language for this forum as far as I am concerned, and I think that @DaReaperMan has received several warnings previously for relatively minor infractions.

As such, I think that a serious warning to make a serious effort to clean up his act, or a brief 1 to 2 weeks block, may be warranted here.
 
I agree.

I believe he's fine and constructive for the most part, but he constantly proves to be crude and abrasive, and he tends to be a primary member of the peanut gallery attacking people who get in trouble, be it in the RVT or otherwise.

A short ban is in order, I believe.

Yeah i can vouch for this, there's an user just keeps on pestering the tourney host to start the tourney and keeps on asking what's a tourney
 
I think Starter Pack more so meant it as a metaphor for making comments that are excessively critical for an otherwise minor mistake that isn't too important. The telling him, "It's only one simple google search away" is reasonable, but making a "*******" remark is stepping too far.
 
I mean Speedster is genuinely annoying with just how impatient(and in this case, clueless as well) he is, but that isn't really report-worthy at all, it's just he kinda gets under my skin, no ifs ands or buts about it, it isn't a defense so much as telling you why, cause I know it wasn't necessary.

You should still chill if you don't wanna get on anyone's bad side. One day you could get into a fight with someone and get quickly banned because of your previous insults instead of just getting warned.
 
I do take it seriously, thing is I slip up at times and let something through, which is just the truth of it.

Edit: I'm not saying I shouldn't be banned, I'm saying a week is a bit high for the deeds, considering it's an honest mistake

Edit 2: a 1-day ban is what I'm arguing for, for the record

I'm fine with a one-week ban. It seems Reaper has been warned of this behavior in the past also a few times. Can't always leave it at a warning and anything less than 1 week will be far too inconsequential to be taken seriously. I get that people can get frustrated, I do too, but it still doesn't justify comments like that.
 
Well, this is not a regular battleboarding community. We are supposed to have a much friendlier environment, and also mainly be about reliable character-indexing and information. Battleboarding is just a relatively unimportant entertainment distraction from that in this case.
 
I am aware, Ant, it's part of why this one sticks, regardless I've made my points, pick a duration and ban away, I'd rather get this started sooner rather then later
