So a King of Hell Onigiri was completely ineffective against King with his flame on, however on the rooftop a less unleashed enma using regular Santoryu cut completely through Kaido's scales, meaning King with his flame is more durable than Kaido.

King himself had earlier alluded to being more durable than Kaido so this shouldn't really be controversial

Yeah pretty much, now that we know how his ability works he was pretty much saying his durability is on another level.
It was only controversial at the time due to king's abilities being unknown & whether Zoro was unleashing Enma the same amount he was on the rooftop, but both got cleared up this chapter.

No his flame was on, same for Zoro with a regular Buso Onigiri in 1022, they're most likely retcons for his ability though.

Zoro doing any damage to King in 1022 has been retconned. King's body recoils from attacks but that doesn't necessarily mean any damage was done

Yep
there was something coming from his mask that looks like blood, I've seen some people say that the sound effect doesn't add up though as it isn't the dripping effect used but an effect for rubble falling.
Either way if he did make him bleed, like with Zoro in 1022 it probably doesn't count due to the retcon of King's durability.

That's shaky at best, but considering Zoro's much more blatant 1022 "feat" has been retconned, I don't see any way for Marco's to stay

But I think it's because of Enma sucking Zoro's Haki, Only 1 slash on there, idk if Ashura similiar to this case too, because only 1 deep scar on Kaido's Body. Hmmm
