BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

A side note on Shunsui, Ukitake and Yamamoto's power level to the rest of the captains:
Shunsui states that the reason he, Ukitake and Yamamoto went to outskirts of Soul Society is because if they'd stayed there (Sokyoku hill) and fought, everyone present would have died but if only him and Ukitake were there, it'd be fine. (Chapter 153).

That should be the basis of some scaling for these three till at least TYBW.

Burn the Witch Round 3 was announced.
Since this Round is solely Bruno, I suppose there's nobody else to use from the current cast. Thus I'm guessing we'll get more BtW manga until Round 3 drops.
 
what does the round 3 mean?
i'd be fine with more btw content tbh nice change of pace maybe we'll get a ichigo cameo like hes a translator? helping tourists in england.

Rounds are the banners. Like TYBW Round 1,2,3, etc etc
This is Round 2, Round 1 was Noel and Ninny.
 
There is no mentioned of a giant Menos Grande that the Soul King turned to sands of reishi in the official viz translation. Another **** up? Or is it close to the raw version? Brave Souls didn't covered that part of the story to back up either version.

It's a mistranslation from the fan translations yeah

The correct translation is that if the Soul King didn't appear and destroy Hollows turning them into sands of Reishi, they would have eventually formed into one giant Menos and cause the world to stop.

SK is clearly said to have created all three of the realms.

He didn't turn one giant Menos into the sands of Reishi that made up Hueco Mundo, rather, he turned countless regular Menos into sands of Reishi.

That downgrades his planet level size Menos feat.
 
So , the changes to Soul/mind hax were approved and numbers don't matter much anymore.

So we will need to make a RC resistance bypass scaling chain.

It makes Bleach almost unbeatable against opponents with a soul in VS Threads, there aren't many verses that have more examples of overcoming soul resistance layers than Bleach.

Almost everytime Soul Crush is shown or any other soul manip in the verse, it's overcoming resistance, generally several layers at that, because pretty much every character in the verse has a degree of soul resistance.

Essentially, any verse which focuses heavily on either the soul or mind is going to get a huge buff from those changes, Bleach benefits greatly from the soul potency changes and a verse like Naruto would probably benefit from the mind manip changes since there are dozens of examples of Genjutsu working on characters with resistance for example.

Does this mean that if we put Ichigo vs Goku if he doesn't have Soul Crush resistance he would die even though he scales higher?
 
Onto the RC chain, where would we start? I presume with Yammy basically giving Tatsuki a stroke. And how would we link the feats together since a lot of them have common factors but it’s from in the middle of the chains rather than the start or end of the chains.

SS Lieutenants resistance (they can all stand in pre Ichigo Kenpachi’s presence) > pre Ichigo Kenpachi’s RC > SS Ichigo resistance > 20% SS Byakuya RC

Chad and Orihime resistance (unaffected by Yammy’s passive RC) > Yammy’s RC > Tatsuki resistance (resists Gonzui) > Gonzui > normal souls.

Ryoka resistance > Post Ichigo Kenpachi’s RC

Post Kenpachi Ichigo RC = captain RC (probably refers to his flexed reiatsu vs their passive Reiatsu since Byakuya was just chilling there and Jushiro compared Ichigo’s to a captain)

Aizen RC > Grimmjow resistance (is millions of souls)

Shunsui and Jushiro’s resistance > Starrk RC > Adjuchas resistance > 10s of thousands of hollows

Pretty sure I am missing quite a few RC feats.

kenny making ganju and hanataro,who are fine in front of lieutenant level opponents, spaz out while not even wanting it.

Orihime, who can no sell Starkk's RC who kill hollows with resistance passively not even wanting it, is made weak by Aizen mere presence .

Lieutenants level (and above) are considered a danger for normal souls and have to be sealed to be in the same realm as them .

Aizen and gotei 13 stand off killing hollows kilometers away.
