Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

Yeah, that is the one part of this that's a bit weird, but that's not a This Chapter thing, that's an arc thing.

I guess the problem for Goku more came in the fact that Granolah just had a relatively easy way to counter that and just doesn't to Vegeta in the situation that he's in. I'll be honest and say I see MUI Goku also winning, if not for just how bad his time limit got nerfed.

That being said, Vegeta > Goku form for form seems right to me after the whole Moro arc thing, where Vegeta SSJB > Goku UIO. They're both still training super hard.

I dont really see a problem with it either because vegeta has been training hard with beerus and vegeta states he has become stronger in just a few minutes so it seems fine.

Some of y’all might have missed this but Goku and Vegeta can now grow in combat again retconning the Goku Black fiasco

actually I disliked that part, its absurd imo how u always have to make the opponent weaker in the same way, he did that to angel Moro and now to Granolah
Not really the same personally I thought of it this way Granolah has complete control on his new powers unlike Moro but he lacks the skills as a fighter to use the said powers to their fullest

Looks like all the Vegeta becoming a GoD theories aren't going to seem like a joke anymore. This is probably gonna have some similarities to Toppo's GoD form in the anime. In fact, I'm guessing that's why Granolah's attacks did nothing, because Vegeta's aura now has a Hakai effect. Could just be a stronger form though.

10/10 chapter absolutely amazing, nobody sleeps on dragon ball.
Anyway, I wanna say, begita is literally stronger than Goku now, this is really strange because granolah one shot UI Goku (UI makes it so you never get caught off guard so Goku wasn't holding back), but Vegeta was able to fight for a long time against granolah in ssbe and took the same attack that UI Goku did and while UI Goku passed out and got fatally wounded, ssbe vegeta took the attack and didn't even pass out, so there are two scenario's here, either SSBE vegeta is literally stronger than UI Goku now which makes 0 sense or UI Goku DID get caught off guard (granolah did say that UI got weaker overtime and Goku was clueless before he was one shot) so that means UI Goku is very likely actually stronger than granolah while not holding back (this also makes sense because of what vegeta said about granolah being the strongest in one point in time only), but that's not the feel I got when Goku lost. The real question is did GoD vegeta surpass Goku? Anyway the takeaway here is that UI got nerfed which is stoooooopiiiid

Base Goku can sense god ki. Even though you need god ki to sense god ki

Granolah hit Goku on his chest right where Whis' signature was. It looked like a specific pressure point spot the way they put so much emphasis on it.

I don't recall Vegeta getting hit with the same thing, and Vegeta does wear some pads on him, whereas Goku does not. Goku was also blatantly off guard and clueless as to what was going on. I don't think SSBE Vegeta surpasses UI Goku, but I think its likely that Destructive Instinct Vegeta does.

if im not mistaken, he was hit by that attack at last, which cause him to lose his SSBE form and go back to his base

note : I don't think SSBE Vegeta is above MUI Goku

I wonder when anime comes back, goku will say something about Vegeta's transformation resembling GoD Toppo's form or at least comparing it 🧐?

Gonna be honest, I 100% love seeing Vegeta get the spotlight today but I hate that they had to nerf UI in order to do so.
Like okay, say what you want about Goku not taking the fight as seriously as Vegeta has, but if Vegeta's performance in SSB is to go by anything then I don't see why Goku struggled as much

Goku was more or less caught off guard

Saiyan beyond god makes it so you can sense god ki without transforming into a ssg and also use ssg power. Or maybe goku has learned how to sense it without transforming, it's very possible.
So they have god Ki in base?

Also someone brought up in the manga Goku and Vegeta crt to give them keys that after the post black arc their base forms should be at least multi-galaxy level because

"Goku Black become comparable to SSB Vegeta as a SS1 in the manga after a bunch of zenkais? And after the time chamber training Vegeta can overpower SS Rose Goku Black by switching back and forth between God and Blue. So doesn’t that mean at this point their Super Saiyan form should be 3-B since Vegeta’s Blue form can damage Black’s Rose form which means his Super Saiyan form should be comparable to Black’s Super Saiyan form?"

Im just trying to figure out how Vegeta got stronger during the fight but not Goku who literally kept getting jabbed and whatnot

BTW as I said before CC Goku and Vegeta did fight everyone they met to master their respective new forms and they even fought Xeno Goku, Vegeta, Trunks and Chronoa in the game version

(scroll to BM9)
First of all, nowhere is it indicated that "everyone" was represented as phantoms.
Second, Arcade Shroom says that the phantoms are drawn from the demons' memories, not Goku's and Vegeta's - the fact that Xeno Gohan and Xeno Goten are among the phantoms, two people neither Goku or Vegeta have ever met (much less fought), supports this. (I should also say for the record that Xeno Trunks was not shown to be among them.)

vegeta just confirms that every few minutes he gets stronger meaning that in the TOP he surpassed himself in the goku black arc in just a few minutes. This chapter also reestablished ki control is a thing with granolah. 9/10 chapter

If the anime got to were we are now Goku and Vegeta in their strongest forms would be possibly 2-C and that would be sure interesting for vs battles

Yeah, no, they'd be the laughing stock of 2-C. Vegeta just being weaker Zeno that can split fusions/remove stolen energy, and Goku with surprising evasion but nothing else.

I wouldn't be against them being there, but they'd probably just get beaten up pretty hard :v
