Sonic has canonical fought Mega Man and knows what hes capable of. There is no mistaking him for a fodder badnik, he's taking this seriously. If you even read a morsel of Archie, you'd know this.
My argument stands. Sonic BFRs or Power Nulls.

Because he had no Power Rings, and because Sonic was practically ******** on him and blitzing him the entire way through and had no intentions of seriously killing or harming him. With Speed Equal, with Power Rings on him, being willing to stop by any means necessary, and a character that he's taking seriously, that's about all he needs to do so.

If Megaman could even hit Archie Sonic.
Shake brought up Sonic vs Megaman (Archie) because, even tho Megaman could react to Sonic (Megaman stopped being able to react to Sonic when he increased his speed), Megaman couldn't hit Sonic once even while Megaman could react to Sonic, while Sonic was hitting Megaman multiple times.
Sonic increases his speed, can leave after images, and his first Hax weapon he uses is Power Rings. Dealing with an oppentenet he can't defeat with H2H, he uses Power Ring BFR. Power Null if BFR fails.
