BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

Yeah, if someone can arbitrarily decide "the definitive version" of a calc then why can't it be me the one that choose what calc I like


If people can't be bothered to give an opinion then don't, but don't force people to not have fun.
 
How about we just go back to scaling the entire verse from a speed feat performed by a fodder in the second arc. It cannot possibly get worse than that.
 
The calc group members here kinda sus anyway.

I had an acceleration as a function of distance and time, and someone said I kept acceleration and force constant. I kinda just gaped at my computer screen reading it. Lmao the other staff also just took it at face value. I called that person out, they never responded to this day lol.
 
I just find it funny how Damage disagrees with literally anything but what he thinks and any calc I feel like he has a problem with unless it's a result he thinks it should be. Then he'll bring up the whole if they didn't fight each other then we can't compare them in speed yet he's okay with scaling literally EVERYONE to orihime's calc because it's a low result like he wants.
 
@SilentBob34; why don't you try asking me what I think instead of making a bunch of assumptions and accusing me of using double standards?
 
@Damage, you're right man my bad on that. So what do you think? Should Ichigo not scale to any feat from a character he doesn't directly fight? Should people like Yamamoto not scale to Orihime's calc or Bankai Ichigo's calc since he never fought them? I'm curious about your thoughts.
 
@SilentBob34; personally in cases where characters don't have feats, I think we should be using the Possibly/Likely qualifiers more. Sometimes scaling gets too carried away because people just can't believe/accept that a character can be rated lowly, or lower than another character even when there isn't direct evidence.

This has happened a lot recently in My Hero Academia IMO, where characters are upgraded just because some people can't believe they could be rated lower than others.

Sometimes scaling is done out of necessity or because there are no other options, but scaling without a sufficient level of evidence should be avodied IMO.

I don't expect everyone to agree on my perspective on this, but I hope you get where I'm coming from.
 
@Damage, yeah I get where you're coming from man, but there's some instances where it pretty simple I think. Like I think in another thread you said something about how we'd have to discuss Ichibei scaling to Renji's feat when it's plain and simple that he should absolutely scale considering who Ichibei is and the fact that he literally trained Renji. There's other instances too and I know you like to aim for accuracy but sometimes your suggestions just go against the in verse mechanics itself and seem outrageous I feel like.

this is interesting i could be completely wrong but to me it looks like his "true shikai" mightve been his base and his "true bankai" is now his shikai
unless they chose to make him in a constant bankai release state for the game
 
Hopefully we get a cool story event or the two sentence description for the character card gives us enough info.

Rip the Shounen dad cut tho.
 
My prediction is that Dad Ichigo’s Zangetsu functions similar to Aizen’s Kyoka Suigetsu, in the sense that I don’t think Ichigo’s sword transforms anymore. He prolly can just whip it out and use it like Aizen can. I’m really thinking that the “Zangetsu Within” is just the final stage of Zangetsu’s evolution similar to what Aizen achieved. Which would be cool if true, sense I know a lot of people find it weird that in terms of forms Ichigo “regressed” from transcendent sword-arm fusion to Shikai and Bankai.

Or Ichigo’s just in a state of constant Bankai because he can lol.
 
Ichigo's special is kinda underwhelming, just a big Getsuga without any info of the aftermath of it, unlike Rukia's where you see the entire effect of her attack.
 
Ichigo's new sword doesn't look anything like his old shikai when he slice Yhwach in half. Is either a release state he trained to suppressed his power and not affect the world of the living or his blade evolved again. Tsukishima and Orihime gave Ichigo back the powers Yhwach stole from an alternative timeline and later in the light novels it is confirmed that the power Yhwach stole went back to Ichigo. That means Ichigo a x2 boost in power.
 
Yeah , the form of the blade is closer to his shikai fullbring one , but with the raw handle of his old shikai (minus the cloth). The one beneath his bankai resembled his original shikai much more .

Seems to be his new baseline sword . I wonder if he still have a bankai.

Rukia seems to have mastered her bankai during the time skip and can move around normally , and is capable of shooting her wide aoe AZ more than once . That's really good.
 
I'm fairly certain it's supposed to resemble the sword that killed Yhwach. Just without the wraps around the handle.
 
If you have TYBW Bankai Ichigo in BBS his sword in the super attack is pretty much the same as Dad Ichigo's sword. Which makes me think it's just a BBS thing.
 
I'd love for Bleach to get a fighting game Like Dragon Ball: FighterZ. Getting all of the different versions of Ichigo on there, and a bunch of characters from each different faction would be sweet. Plus with their special fighting movies too.

EDIT: If you had to pick a 24 character roster for the initial launch of Bleach: FighterZ, who would you pick from the series to be a playable fighters?
 
New versions of Ichigo would be DLC Goku's of that game.

Would be funny as ****.

God, I wish Ichigo's moveset was cooler. No one with that genealogy should have his only ability be throwing energy blasts around.
