He'll be fine hopefully. Unlike Togashi, he's not stubborn and actually has people helping him draw (plus the transition to digital art). It's why the art style changed so much, but it's also the reason we even get chapters at all.
With enough luck, we may see the series end within the next 5-10 years.
 
It's sad to think that we are close to the end, there are still so many things that could be explored and so many characters that could have more space and attention.

As long as Griffith burns in hell and Guts and Casta have a happy ending 🤷‍♂️

I’d be happy with that
 
I doubt that Miura will rush things. He could've rushed the ending 15-20 years ago if he really wanted to. At this point, I'm sure he'll tell the story he wants to the best of his abilities. The man has given us one of the best stories ever told with some of the best art in fiction for 30+ years now, so I think it's fair to have faith in him to finish the story on his terms.
 
Miura said he wants a happy ending for Guts. Though by happy ending for Guts he probably means a quick and painless death
 
Or maybe Berserk pulls a Tokyo Ghoul and does give us a shonen like ending where Griffith gets what’s coming to him and Guts+Casca get their happy ending

Lord knows I wouldn’t be opposed to that as they definitely deserve a happy ending
 
The only shounen ending I could accept is if Guts' Berserker Armor turns white, there's a plot twist that HE is the Hawk of Light and destroys Griffith's ass dream or something. But that won't happen and I hope we get a better ending

Which is why Giffith’s defeat can’t happen because of a battle, it would need to be a situation like “If you destroy this one thing, then the God Hand are banished permanently” or something like that
 
IF Griffith were to be "defeated", I'm almost certain it'll be his dream falling apart before his eyes somehow. For him, there would be no greater pain. I would personally be satisfied with that.

Guts won't beat him up and call it a day lol.

Other possibilities could be the moonlight boy or Skull Knight having something to do with his defeat maybe.

I dunno, I'm sure if it were that easy, Skull Knight would've done it by now.
 
I would like Griffith's fate to be ambiguous, like after his dream is shattered, he again becomes the guy after torture with 3/4 of his muscle mass lost, and Guts just leaves him alone for death. Destroying Griffith's dream after everything he has sacrificed would literally break him, for me that is the only way to defeat him, and it may be possible for Guts because causality doesn't give two ***** about him

I can't imagine Berserk having an asspull ending with some kind of deus ex machina defeating God Hand, that would be too generic for a well written seinen manga
 
I just hope Miura thinks about how to end the manga during the hiatus, it's not easy to continue something with such a strong start and continuation
 
Resistance to Possession, Guts already has it

I think of few abilities, so if we are talking about it I'll say -

Limited Resistance to Fate Manipulation for Guts. I know it falls mainly under Causality, but the God Hand plus Idea of Evil can control the future and they can't exactly influence Guts from what I remember. Also Flora once said "He is still alive. He contested with fate... survived it."

Resistance to Empathic Manipulation for Guts and Skull Knight, they don't succumb to Griffith in his presence. I already mentioned it but I still believe that it's because of their willpower.
 
I might even see a bitter ending with Griffith fulfilling his dream as a leader of humans and apostles, with Guts, his friends, the fairies and maybe some defecting humans moving to another place outside the grasp of the God Hand over causality.
Maybe Griffith is even planning to take out the rest of the God Hand, to replace the Idea of Evil as something like a warped Idea of Peace or Justice.
 
I mean I don't think any of us to expect Griffith to be beaten because Guts defeats him in a fight, and I certainly believe Guts vs Giffith will happen, I think everyone agrees regardless of the outcome, that battle will take place, but I don't think that battle will decide whether or not Griffith is defeated, once again, I can see the moonlight child or some other force defeating Griffith
 
I'm fine with both of these, especially the resistance to Empathic manipulation.

Btw, should Zodd get enhanced senses in his Apostle form? Ik it sounds weird, but he's part goat part lion, so idk, maybe he shares the senses of these animals?

Idk I am having this strong feeling/instinct that he is gonna sacrifice all humans on falconia

Idk why but I just feel it

Last few times we knew of kingdoms so full was 2 instances of 1 SK empire being sacrifice and then when Griffin gained a physical form
 
It's a key to Griffith's hand-made kingdom, if anything the rest of God Hand might kill them somehow and it will cause a conflict within the God Hand

I think all for now to do with the verse is to do profiles for Rosine, Flora, Casca and Farnese (maybe Count and Isidro too), revise the lifting strength, cut the pictures and it's all done.
