They were only possessing temporary vessels anyway, so no matter what happened to the vessel itself, it wouldn't affect their existence as gods in the slightest
Even eliminating their existence is not enough to completely kill the god.“Oh? I see you have changed your approach. You are now attempting to kill the very concept of my being. Of course, killing this vessel means little,so that is the correct path to take, but is it something you are capable of?
Underhanded tactics like killing the concept of a person only works if you
alone are capable of doing it
“I told you from the beginning I intended to kill you. All that remained
was to see how much of a fight you put up. If you had fought until the end, I
would have at least asked your name. Die.”
Having lost interest, she killed the man, erasing his existence. At the same
UEG killed many gods, but those gods didn't die completely. Because of this, a powerful attack like erasing their existence wasn't enough to kill a god completely, and it didn't affect their concepts; it only affected the object of their concepts. The UEG had never considered that. She had believed gods were
indestructible, eternal beings. She had killed any number of gods, but death
was just another state of being for them, one from which they would
eventually recover.
Btw I couldn't even reply to that. Pretty good.
