Battle of Gods - The Authority vs The Monarch

Really.

If no outside forces are allowed, then the The Authority and MOP stand there forever.

If outside forces are allowed, then wind kills The Authority
 
Monarch outlasts The Authority long enough for a strong breeze to kill him, since both of them can't actually touch eachother.
 
I agree with the reasoning above. The Monarch's 0-dimensionality would likely allow him to outlast The Authority until he gets destroyed by nature's forces.
 
I legit wanna know why this match was removed

Edit: Saw the reasoning, but literally all of The Authority's matches put him against something he cannot even harm to begin with, Monarch could literally be any tier and the match would be the exact same "Authority dies because he's just that pathetically weak"

The match is literally "Monarch wins because he isn't the one who loses" and "The Authority just dies lol he's a weakling"
 
It was removed because you could use this logic for High 1-Bs:

"Well, the High 1-B can't harm the 11-C because of zero-dimensionality, and the High 1-B will die eventually, even if it takes trillions of years, so the 11-C wins."
 
Most High 1-Bs have means of killing lower dimensional creatures. Such as the Living Tribunal, he could just conceptually destroy him or create a zero-dimensional Avatar to destroy him. And I think doing nothing for trillions of years counts as losing with Standard Battle Assumptions. It only takes a few seconds for the Authority to die.
 
Their are still some who do not have methods.

And it still doesn't stop it from being ridicolous: The Monarch of Pointland can't do enough damage to kill the Authority. He just can't.
 
But High 1-Bs would still win due to Monarch not being able to do anything. But I get what you were saying. This was basically the only possible match Monarch could really win.
 
You can tear a 2-D papaer, you can't tear 0-D object.

The Monarch of Pointland is an entire universe, you can't rip the 0-D object he's on, because he is the 0-D object.

Either way, you could use that logic for anyone.
