...When will you understand that you can't simply put Yukari against someone who has a whole paragraph describing their hax various? You're putting her against someone who beat arguably the two most haxxed 3D beings. You're frankly overestimating her.
 
Well, I mean if ya move the thread to the F&G board I would gladly make the arguement that she could manipulate the boundry of being of Earth...

But since this is in the versus thread, I'm gonna say she takes an L here.
 
How much time has Lavos spent on Earth? If his current form was conceptualized and created on Earth, he's still subject to BB's Authority.
 
65 million years. It wasn't created or conceptualized on earth. Just landed and burrowed, while only like, less than 20 people know of its existence.

The Divine Spirits that are also subject to BB's Authority also arrived on Earth around the same time as bacteria.

Cal do you seriously have to be another one of those people who bandwagon a character who is really starting to be overused?

Anyway, BBs authority works, therefore she can make any and all of Lavos's attacks not do a thing against her and then proceed to erase him with CCC.

Sound like an NLF? I know it does, but it ain't, and while I would explain, my phone needs to charge, and Mr Swag Pack already has explained this on 682 vs BB, read there and then decide whether it's decisive in BBs favor, or a Hax stomp.

Dang it Cal, i was going to jump on the BB bandwagon and do this matchup.

BB takes this if her authority works on Lavos and it seems like it does so ill vote her.
 
You guys know that Lavos has immunity voiding and heavy resistance to existence erasure, right? Even with authority working she still has her work cut out for her.

Funny, BB's Earth Mother's Authority also nulls all resistances while making attacks impossible for as long as one is unable to oppose the concept of living itself.
 
Being erased simply sends him to the Darkness Beyond Time. And there's still nullifying that impossibility. Also, isn't Lavos stronger than the Earth Mother?

Uhh no, that's not how it works, being stronger then the goddess means nothing, you have to have a higher divinity then it, being Lavos isn't even really a god or have any divinity, he's still effected by authority.

BB literally erases any resistances he has including existence erasure, and her NP finishes him off.
 
Question for more knowledgeable Fate people.

Divine Authority = Divinity or no? Considering Gil and Herc can't just warp the time axis whenever they want I would say no, but just checking.

No. Divinity refers to how close one is to being a god. Authority is the god's domain and what they have control over.

Granted, having greater Divinity usually means having more powerful authorities.

So can Lavos do anything against BB then? If he has some "grows supernaturally stronger with age" thing to be equalised to Mystery and is older than the earth, he can resist the Authority. If he has some form of causality manipulation he could counter the mechanics by which Authority works. If he has concept destruction he could possibly destroy the concept of Authority
 
Just being older than earth isn't quite what it needs though. Mystery is a thing in Nasuverse that "accumulates" on things that age (even after they have died, e.g. Heroic Spirits) and makes them stronger. If any two things with Mystery clash, the one with more Mystery (e.g. the older one) will simply absorb the power of the younger one. A higher Mystery is one of the things that can ignore the Earth Mother's Authority, but seeing as Mystery is an existing supernatural phenomena in the Nasuverse, verse equalisation wouldn't simply say "well the other character gets mystery too then". Especially seeing as if we did that, any time a Fate character fought against someone younger than themself they would be almost garaunteed to win.

Monarch, all you need to be is older then Earth.
 
@Monarch That's not how Mystery works at all. "The older one always wins" is not a thing in the Nasuverse. Yes, you get stronger as you get older, but it's also possible to reach similar levels being way younger. If Mystery worked the way sou say it works, Richard the Lionheart wouldn't be able to fight on par with Enkidu in Strange Fake, Chiron would have casually murderstomped Mordred in Apocrypha, Jeanne, Paracelsus, Tesla, Edison, Helena, Hijikata, Okita, Dantes, d'Eon, Columbus and every version of Jack the Ripper would all be garbage tier, Nitocris would be almost as strong as Gilgamesh, and Tiamat would be the strongest character after the Types. You also don't see Enkidu, Gilgamesh or Nitocris absorbing the power of everyone they fight because "lol i'm older".

Also, of course verse equalization gives people Mystery, otherwise Servants would be literally unbeatable to almost everyone in their tier, since you can't harm Servants without Mystery.
