Can Guts negate Regenerationn?

I've seen many people try to argue that he can negate Regenerationn with Dragonslayer. Well it's not stated on his profile that he can so I wanted a definitive answer to whether he can.

No he can't negate regen from what I've seen in the manga, it probably stems from the fact he's capable of cutting souls with the dragon slayer(doesn't mean he negates regen he's just able to cut spirits. C.) and I guess words got jumbled up and it led to people thinking negating regen.

I believe the explanation is that if he cuts you on the spiritual level, even if your arm grows back, your soul-arm won't so you can't use it.

But I've never seen this in the manga, so I suspect it is wank, just like him being able to kill with a scratch

False a friend of mine I believe started that idea long ago and has since than dropped it himself. Nowhere has it been stated or shown that guys himself can negate regen if he cuts a piece of your soul(this was probably started cause Slan did something with guts soul but that only indicates she has soul manipulation not that she negates regen.)

Is it safe to add a small note on his profile that despite popular belief, Dragonslayer doesn't negate Regenerationn, doesn't ignore durability and cannot kill with just a scratch?

I must point out that soul wounds in Berserk, much like how Laciel mentioned, would render the afflicted part useless.

Dragonslayer doesn't negates durability, nor Regenerationn, neither does it kill with a scratch. However, what it does, if it does soul wounds just like how Slan's own attacks, is causing the wound always to re-open, no matter how you cure it, unless it is kept closed by some kind of soul-afflicting item or spell.

Let me explain it better: When Guts was cut through the chest by a soul-wound from Slan, the wound was continuously healed by both conventional and magical methods by his group, but no matter how hard they tried, the wound always re-opened. Schierke herself, a powerful - albeit really young - witch didn't manage to do anything but slow down the re-opening of the wound, and it was explicitly stated that the Berserker Armor was needed so Guts could survive.

Tl;dr: Soul wounds, in Berserk, will always re-open unless some kind of soul-afflicting power comes into play.

Idk if this was already discussed (Probably yes), but if the Dragonslayer works in terms similar to Slan's own, then I am 99% sure that it causes some weird kind of "wounding" status effect on the very least, negating Regenerationn to a certain degree at maximum.

@Burning

Well, we can't affirm that for sure. In one way, there isn't anything that outright contradicts the fact that Dragonslayer ignores durability. However, the Dragonslayer was also explicitly shown to be able to kill Apostles and demons alike because of it's massive attack potency.

It may be a case of extreme AP or durability negation, perhaps both. The problem is that there is no absolute proof towards any of the conclusions.

Personally I'd say it does ignore durability, but I digress.

@Ant

He already has "Can attack the soul". I mentioned adding the note because a lot of people seem to be under the idea that his sword just goes through whatever defense others may have and/or kill with a scratch.

Okay. I also think that seems exaggerated.
