Arrogance overload.

Original Form Gil vs Phase 1 Sata

Gil challenges Satan for his place as Master of the First Heavenly Realm. Both are bloodlusted and fight on Earth. Win via death. Speed Equalized.

@Cropfist

There's no indication that he's able to copy equipment, since he didn't bother with the Ruyi Jingu, and the vast majority of Gil's powers comes from his equipment. The only thing he'd really be able to copy is Sha Nagba Imuru.

Then there's the fact that Enkidu would seal all of Satan's powers and completely restrain him, lock down space to prevent teleportation, negate all of his active abilities, among other things.

I'm going with Gil with Rep's reasoning. While he doesn't have a resistance to gravity manipulation, of whatever Satan uses it with, Gil pretty is alright with about everything else. As Rep said, most of his powers comes from his equipment and the only thing Satan would even gain from Gil personally would just be his Sha Nagba Imuru.

And given that he's a god who possess divinity, pretty the chains of Enkidu are gonna do some real nasty suppression work on him, by which Gil can proceed to either bombard him with loads of weapon shots from GoB or just Enuma Elish him to oblivion.

BB has gravity manipulation and that didn't help her against Gilgamesh.

Bloodlusted Gilgamesh, I'm going with him. This is Enuma Elish from the start of the match.

Well, with Satan's upgrades, this becomes skewed more closely towards his favor assuming we're sticking with First Phase Satan.

Gil's only hope of beating him is to restrain him with Enkidu before firing Enuma Elish in his face. Considering the fact that he's bloodlusted, he might get it off in time.

What are the upgrades again? I doubt it's the Solar System Feat.

Nvm, he got buffed to Star. Still sticking with Gil though due to your reasoning and well bloodlust. Not to mention he still has that future sight going for him.

Small Star for all 3 phases and Solar System in the last phase with acupuncture.

Could Satan not simply copy the actual ability "Gate of Babylon"? Not copying the weapons inside, at least not directly, but could he not copy the power to open the portals and fire the weapons?

I know he can't copy equipment, but the Gate of Babylon isn't equipment, its the power that summons equipment. But ok, so Satan doesn't have the key, so he can't use it.

If they are both bloodlusted, either Satan throws Jupiter at Gil, or Gil haxxes Satan to death with GoB, so I'm saying inconclusive as I really can't think which would happen first, especially with speed equalised.

@Monarch

Gil could bust Jupiter pretty easily with Ea, and Satan still does not have a counter for Enkidu.

@Monarch

Gil has a nigh-infinite treasury and omnidirectional portals. In addition, Enkidu shoots out first, all of Satan's powers are sealed. Given that Gil is bloodlusted, he'll use Sha Nagba Imuru and know to use Enkidu first before Satan multiplies too quickly.

Gil: 6 (Burning. Monarch, Rep, Cross, SwagPack, Core)

Stan: 1 (Crop)

Okay, but Satan can also one-shot right? Would Enkidu hold him down enough for Gilgamesh to use Ea?

Never mind, I made some kind of mistake before.

Satan was always small star level in Phase 1

I actually question enkidu holding him down, as Hercules was able to break free of it despire his high divinity stat when he was only Mountain level. A small star level should have a much easier time of it. But they are both bloodlusted, so even if Enkid can only hold him down for a half a second, that's still enough time for Gil to use EA.

If Satan ever gets off his quadrillion clones, he wins this as they can all tank anything the GoB can throw at them while using gravity manip and laser eyes and stuff to take Gil down, but with Gil bloodlusted, he's using SNI first, then Enkidu, then EA

@Monarch

You're using Mountain level Gil as a benchmark for Large Planet level Gil's feats. Not exactly wise.

First off, Hercules is only half god, meaning that it only has a fraction of the effect it would on a full god. Even then, Hercules only broke out after using up all of his extra lives and from the grief of watching Illya get killed. Enkidu's power rises exponentially with divinity, as it was also able to bind Tiamat in Fate/Grand Order.

BB was also able to manipulate gravity to the point that it distorted the time axis, so I don't think it's going to be that much of an issue.

It's the same chain, so whether Gil himself is at full power or not, the chain's power would be the same. Still, I wasn't aware it had a feat of binding Tiamat, so alright

Gravity manip has a variety of uses. Satan could just throw the sun at him, or increase gravity on Gil to the point where Gil himself is unable to move. Or hell, just throw off the trajectory of all Gil's blade spam with it. If Satan gets off his cloning, he wins this. He probably won't though

I vote Gilgamesh since he is bloodlusted and has the abilities of the divine chains Enkindu which would be fully effective against Satan and the conceptual weapon Ea with feats Reppuzan gave above

Gravity is gravity. If you have the ability to put enough gravitational force on Jupiter to throw it at MFTL speeds, you have the ability to put enough gravitational force on someone that they are crushed to the ground. He is capable of it, and throwing Jupiter was like, Satan's first semi-serious feat, and even then he was just experimenting with his new power.

The thing that gives Gil his win here is bloodlust and Enkidu to hold Satan in place and null his power. If he wasn't bloodlusted, he wouldn't bother with Enkidu first thing, giving Satan the chance to clone, and from then on its 200quadrillion enemies surrounding him to fight at once who can tank nearly everything GoB can throw out.

Why mention that when he is bloodlusted? As far as i know Ea can also casually destroy planets and he has fought beings the size of large planets and tanked their gravity manipulation. Heck, Ea can even destroy the fabric of reality which is why reality marbles are useless against him and he also survived noble phantasms from those large-planet beings. I dont see why gravity manipulation would turn the tables.

You don't see how Gil being crushed into paste by the force of 200 quadrillion small star levels' gravity manipulation would turn the tables?

Huh

200 quadrillion Satans throwing planets would be drastically beyond 5A if most of them hit him rather than just one Satan but it would be the clones that make the gravity manipulation deadly. Tearing the fabric of reality might be defensive against that. Would Satan duplicate himself at the beginning before he gets chained by Enkindu?

from what i remember satan can duplicate pretty much instantly, but i dont know if that matters in this verses but i just wanted to point it out

Just went over their fight. Satan can make about 100 clones of himself instantly anywhere he wants within 100 or so metres, but to reach 200 quadrillion it took a few moments (although it was still faster than Jin could react, so...)

And going back to power copying... I'm not sold on Satan needing that key to copy GoB. Gil never pulls it out any other time than when he's showing his superiority over Iskander, and I don't believe he's ever used it elsewhere, or implied that it is the key (heh) to his power and is needed.

I haven't read the LN so if a quote there says otherwise tell me, but it seems like that key was used to access Ea alone. I think that Satan could copy the actual GoB ability and get the sword spamming.

Oh and Satan could still copy SNI

Here's how I think this fight goes:

Fight starts > Satan creates 100 clones while Gil activates SNI > SNI tells Gil to Enkidu the main satan and GoB the others, while Satan reads Gils mind and finds out A. what he is planning, and B. how to use SNI and GoB > Gil fires Enkidu and GoB while Satan and his clones uses their copied GoB (which thanks to his broken copy ability, can create more portals at once and fire them with stronger force) to cancel out Gils GoB and Enkidu, shirou emiya style > Gil sees "I am going to die" and refuses to believe it, while Satan makes 200 quadrillion clones > Gil pulls out Ea and begins to use it > The 200 quadrillion clones GoB and Gravity Crush Gil to paste

Vote is changing to Sata

Both are bloodlusted, so Gil is just going to chain him up with Enkidu and Ea him out of existance as soon as the fight starts. He's not gonna bother with GoB or SNI at all, unless Satan somehow survives the initial Enuma Elish. Only then will he activate SNI and start attacking with GoB as a distraction, while he charges up Ea again. Gil should take this due to bloodlust.

Satan would know what Gil is about to do with mind reading, so would instantly create clones to be hit by the chains instead
