Please report any rule violations in this thread. Notifying us of such incidences is highly appreciated.

Additionally, kindly report any sockpuppets that you come across.

Note: Only report violations regarding the wiki rules. False reports due to personal vendettas are unacceptable.

Also, this thread should be for reporting actual rule-breaking, not every single little disagreement.

In cases of extreme vandalism or trolling, you can report the accounts at the VSTF wiki.

If blocked members create sockpuppet accounts to circumvent their block repetitively, or several are created at almost the same time, you may contact the Wikia Staff, to politely request permanent IP blocks.

To Staff Members: You can find specific users with the Search Function by typing with the format: "User:Username"

Should KMS (Kill myself) jokes be banned? They may be jokes but they imply suicide and suicide is most certainly not a joke. Since we have a wiki rule tbat states not to ask how to kill yourself, would this fall under that rule even if it's a joke? I don't want to be overly restrictive but a user has already found these "jokes" to be quite offensive. My point is what if someone lost somebody to suicide? Or are suicidal themselves.
 
Considering in chat we have a manga scan emote for it and its only used when appropriate, I would say no, unless someone makes that knid of mistake in which case, it was each other's fault. One is insensitive and one clearly didn't see the joke. It's a little petty to be upset over some of these things.

While it says asking in the rules, I believe that the user's actions should count as well, a warning should do.

He made a huge edit to the Magolor file without permission or without a Content Revision Thread. He upgraded him to 2-C. I've given him a warning, but like I've said we should probably keep an eye on him.

Certainly. He gave off a bad impression. And expressed that communism is a great system, an opinion that shouldn't be stated on our wiki. Leave politics out of here.

There is no need for 2 warnings also Sera your warning sounded a bit too harsh so i will be removing it.

This is his first major offense and probably just, so we can only give a warning. If he continues to disregard the wiki's rules, then a month's ban at the minimum.
 
I'm terribly sorry to bring this up again, truly I am. But I cannot ignore the requests of several users.

Over the past week I have gotten complaints about:

1.Jokes regarding cancer (or any terminal illness for that matter)

2.Jokes about suicide (this has been addressed already)

3.Talk about "lolicons" (or if you prefer, childlike females)

4.Jokes about murder (I'll kill you for example)

5.Mentioning hentai.

Again, I have had a talk with Hop about #2 and Matt about #1 (which he agreed with) but the others need to be addressed. I didn't want to bother about "what can and cannot be said in chat again" but I just can't ignore when people come to be for assistance.

The cancer, suicide, and murder one should be not allowed whatsoever. IDK about lolis, they are in terrible taste to be talked about, but it depends on what the context of the discussion is.
 
1,2, and 4 are not allowed within this wiki. 3 and 5 depend on whether any sexually explicit mentions were made, or it was just done in passing.

Are political avi's allowed? As in profile pictures of political figures? Even if it's for joke purposes. For example: this perso.
 
Well, they are not ban worthy, but should preferably be politely discouraged.
 
Blocked JoJoboi for 3 months, as his first edits were obvious trolling.

I personally belive anyone in the last 30 years should be discouraged. But a pic of like, Teddy Roosevelt, or the like, is not a problem.
 
Okay im still trying to get the hang of the whole banning thing so how long should he be banned for?
