First one got too crowded and almost reached the post limit, so we're starting anew. Now with 50% less Gothitelle talk!

yay

So, again with my last comment, if we scale gardevoir to gallade, then we might get something... I mean, Gallade has attacks that are comparable to swords, so....

The Blackhole feat? I'm not too sure if we can scale it but I'll let smarter people decide that.

Yea, highlighting this. This thread is rather important.

Anyways, I am curious about that Tyranitar feat. Considering that the shockwaves of said earthquake were said to crumble large mountains...

Perhaps I can find the value for crumbling those large mountains from the earthquake.

^Can we scale? (Regarding both Gardevoir and Tyranitar)

Also, does this need to be highlighted/ content revision? At this point it seems more of a general discussion thing since we really don't have any general feat to use to until someone brings it up.

I found a decent feat for Loudred

"Loudred's bellowing can completely decimate a wood-frame house. It uses its voice to punish its foes. This Pokémon's round ears serve as loudspeakers."

A solid 9-A feat for a mid tier Pokemon, not bad at all.

I assumed that the Black Hole feat wasn't too valid, since it would be outlier-ish like Gothitelle's feat. I was just trying to propose a way for Gardevoir and Gallade to have stats that aren't completely crazy lol

But they both learn teleport, so that can added into the speed section I guess. :/

Yeah I didn't think this needed to be highligted either, sorry. I feel like most people will migrate over from the last one regardless.

That calc looks good for the most part.

Pokemon Cries - 295 Exploud
Pokemon Cries - 295 Exploud

Now, from the video above, Exploud's cry actually lasts for 2 seconds in the game, contrary to the 5 and 10 seconds assumed in the calc. Exploud's cry generates 0.223 Tons of TNT per second.

This means that 0.446 Tons of TNT is generated in Exploud's cry. That is Building level.

I would be very interested in this. An earthquake which actually causes the complete collapse of mountains and drastically alters the surrounding landscape should be incredibly powerful.

For Tyranitar I don't see it being an outlier. At least it's not something like Geodude. By the way, I'm expecting a tier 6 feat coming out of this.

Tyranitar would in no way be an outlier, considering the fact it is consistently portrayed as one of the most powerful, non-legendary pokemon on the face of the planet.

Lickitung being Tier 6 for causing Magnitude 10 earthquakes...now that's another story.

I'm still confused on how we handle Magnitude, could it be use for fully evolved Pokemon (like Golurk and Golem), could we use the low end (Large Town+) or is it outright banned on all fronts?

Low end (Which was Magnitude 4 IIRC) is more consistent with other Pokemon feats and is a general low end of the moves attack power. I think it should be usable for fully evolve Pokemon.

Why going with consistency when we have Pokémons varying from 9-B to 6-C?

Especially since Dugtrio in particular is said to produce "huge earthquakes". Using the absolute low end for him makes little sense.

Idea. How about we use the absolute low end of Magnitude for weaker pokemon that can learn it (Grodude, Diglett, Barboach, etc.) and use the middle end, the most frequent level of Magnitude, for stronger Pokemon. That would be a Magnitude 7 earthquake, or very low end island level.

We should use the most likely/largest percentage Magnitude for fully evolved Pokemoj at best. At worst we don't use it at all. Because I doubt Golem is stronger than the rest of the trade final evos combined.

I suppose, scaling pokemon to Magnitude by their evolution is the best way.

Magnitude Power Probability
4 (Base) 10 5%
5 30 10%
6 50 20%
7 (Evolved) 70 30%
8 90 20%
9 110 10%
10 (Fully Evolved) 150 5%

Though, there is also the probability that we could use to scale maybe.

Magnitude Power Probability
4 10 5%
5 30 10%
6 50 20%
7 (Base) 70 30%
8 (Evolved) 90 20%
9 110 10%
10 (Fully Evolved) 150 5%

Oh, and here's Graveler.

Y Rolls down slopes to move. It rolls over any obstacle without slowing or changing its direction.
Omega Ruby Graveler grows by feeding on rocks. Apparently, it prefers to eat rocks that are covered in moss. This Pokémon eats its way through a ton of rocks on a daily basis.
And here's Golem.

X It tumbles down mountains, leaving grooves from peak to base. Stay clear of these grooves.
Y Even dynamite can't harm its hard, boulder-like body. It sheds its hide just once a year.
Omega Ruby Golem live up on mountains. If there is a large earthquake, these Pokémon will come rolling down off the mountains en masse to the foothills below.
Alpha Sapphire Golem is known for rolling down from mountains. To prevent them from rolling into the homes of people downhill, grooves have been dug into the sides of mountains to serve as guideways for diverting this Pokémon's course.
And here's Onix.

Red As it grows, the stone portions of its body harden to become similar to a diamond, but colored black.
Blue
Yellow Burrows at high speed in search of food. The tunnels it leaves are used as homes by Diglett.
Stadium Its large body is over 26 feet long. Despite its size, it can squirm its way through the ground at 50 mph.
Platinum
It burrows through the ground at a speed of 50 mph while feeding on large boulders.
And Steelix.

X Tempered underground under high pressure and heat, its body is harder than any metal.
Y It chews its way through boulders with its sturdy jaws. Its eyes can see in the darkness underground.
Omega Ruby Steelix lives even further underground than Onix. This Pokémon is known to dig toward the earth's core. There are records of this Pokémon reaching a depth of over six-tenths of a mile underground.
Sand Tomb, is this usable?

BWB2W2
XYORAS

The user traps the target inside a harshly raging sandstorm for four to five turns.
Also, Sand Storm and other weather-inducing attacks change the weather forcibly for a moment. What do we make of that?

IIRC, at the end of the Giratina movie a whole bunch of Aron and a few Lairon were eating up the machine Zero built to replicate Giratina's powers. Could that be scaled?

I remember hearing that every pokemon with attack higher than 100 are capable of destroying cities, although i couldn't tell you where i remember that from.

It can also learn Rock Slide, which involves hurling a large number of large rocks.
Actually its much more than just hurled, its coming from a ******* different dimension apparently.

In unova they show Rock Slide being used by Cilan's Crustle and when using the move, all of the "hurled" rocks are coming out of dimensional portals in space-time.

So what would we label this?
Cilan's Crustle Rock Slide

Yeah. It's still summoning, even if it's coming from a different dimension. It would still be geokinesis if they just created it out of thin air. But portals, didn't expect that.

So with Gummy's suggestion.

-Non Evolved Pokemon would be: 294 kilotons

-Evolved Pokemon would be: 9 gigatons

-Fully Evolved would be: 294 teratons

That seems reasonable to me.

I agree, maybe later on we should make a page explaining what we decide to scale in Pokemon like this, the Pikachu speed calc, starters, etc.
