About Planet Level Rebirth of Mothra characters

Mothra Leo, Desghidorah, Dagahra, and Grand King Ghidorah are all labeled as Planet Level via scaling from Desghidorah absorbing the life energy of planets. However, I recall Cretaceous King Ghidorah (Grand King Ghidorah's younger self) being killed by an erupting volcano. Cretaceous King Ghidorah was able to beat half-power Rainbow Mothra Leo, who should be comparable to if not stronger than Desghidorah even at half power (Mothra Leo curbstomped Desghidorah, Dagahra curbstomped Mothra Leo, and Rainbow Mothra Leo curbstomped Dagahra).

Does sucking "life energy" from a planet really warrant Planet Level? For example, Showa King Ghidorah "killed" the planet Venus via surface destruction over a 24-hour period, which gave Island Level energy output, so it doesn't take planet-busting energy to kill planets in the Toho universe.
