Geralt of Rivia vs Marine of 40k

Close range combat or clashing of melee weapons is really one sided because marines have a overall superior weapons that can tear through molecules unless geralt doesn't clash at all but rather tries to dodge and hit the space marine in critical spots (That won't make the marine budge) and combine it with Yrden which slows down every enemy at melee range will give geralt a chance at winning

If the marine tries to shoot at geralt it will backfire at marine because of quens reflective and protective abilities it send back 50% of the damage

So, if geralt wants to be honorable he will get killed really easily but if he wants to fight safely and attack the marine at the right time he will most likely score a win

My vote would go to geralt due to having a more likely chance at winning
 
Then Geralt has a huge AP advantage. He is almost baseline High 8-C, and can amp himself with Potions.
 
Geralt's profile has multiple calcs highest being 1.9 Tons (?). The others should probably be removed it causes confusion imo. Or it should be put as fist since it's accepted calc and the others are suporting calcs right?
 
Okay then I think 1.9 tons calc being listed first would help a bit, so people don't need to click all the calcs one by one

Good he has a bunch of 8-C calcs/scalings, consistent
 
This is now so one sided with Geralt having over 3x AP advantage and Quen reflection stuff I didn't know about reflection nor did I know his AP was almost 2 tons I thought he was a bit above baseline similar to this Marine

So like very one sided, Idk what can I do to balance this match really

That's why i actually said the marine has a clear edge in melee combat because geralt never uses quen in combat

If the marine wanted to shoot geralt from a distance, then geralt will use quen
 
Since this seems to be one-sided in favour of Geralt, and the OP requested me to close it, I will do so.
 
Alright let me repeat this

The Primaris Marine has a huge advanatage in weapon arsenal that it isn't even funny to mention it

The marine outright dominates in close combat unless geralt gets careful or uses signs

At long range if geralt wouldn't quen he would get destroyed because marines weapons reach high 8-C attack potency and ignore durability either way

Is this a stomp? No.

This is a fair match because both of them counter each other in some way and both have their advantages
 
I see Geralt's morals holding him back quite a bit in this fight, so much so that the Marine might actually take this.
 
Marine starts using weapons which results in Geralt using Quen(?)

Marine understands he can't get around Quen with ranged stuff and decides to close the distance

They both get into CqC range which Geralt wouldn't use Quen(?)

Geralt has much higher AP and durability and Marine has a lot of skill and experience idk who would win in CqC
