Also can someone post a clip of Flanders summoning lightning? I keep getting mixed responses as to whether or not it has a cast time.

So yes, Flanders has to actively speak in order to use it

Also since we're treating it as natural lightning you would only need to be 9-C in order to survive it

To go more into depth Flander's takes this due to his connection with god he can pray and say help me and god's gonna help him out by taking out booker probably with lightning

Well. His attacks can harmed homer. So no on that part.

Homer does not have a resistance to electricity so yes, its only 9-C to tank lightning

Yes he does. He has extremely high resistance. He has shocked himself with inhuman amounts of electricity. Enough to shut off the town

Except he wont be able to ask for help if he's possessed or paralyzed

Also Booker can just absorb the lightning with Return to Sender

Would he have to get in range? I was never sure how that kind of range works since Flanders has KM via god.

That's a fair point.

For Shock Jockey yes but for possession no, plus its a homing attack

Pretty sure we dont allow outside interference that isnt directly summoned or done through something like type 4/8

I'm on the fence about that. God is someone who is always with Ned (via being ya know. God). And does actively help him. Feels wrong to restrict that if it's normal

And wouldn't that like Rip some JoJo stand users. GER is activated by the stands thought. Not the guy himself

He isn't even aware of it to what I'm told. Which is why they tend to end in draws. He doesn't activate it. The stand does it themself. This also would make a RIP out of a lot of passive or Automatic abilities.

Dude, passive abilities are not the same thing as an outside force independent of the battle doing things for a character without them actively asking for it to be done

I mean cause there's a lot abilities that come from other forces. The Doctor has probability manipulation via someone else actively turning stuff into his favor. He doesn't control it.

Regardless. I'm just saying I don't think restricting Gods help is right considering it's a normal occurrence, and it would fall under being standard. But vote how you will. I'm just laying my opinion in that one part

And as such that wouldnt be allowed in vs threads

Flanders calling down lightning from God is fine but arguing that Flanders wins via God doing some unknowable thing to make Booker lose is not

Also even if he does manage to strike Booker with lightning it wont kill Booker as Booker has a passive forcefield that absorbs damage including electrical attacks

Ned best feat is matching homer who's trained in martial arts, body guard, mayor guard, military more than once, Navy, boxing, and likely quite a bit more.

Just want to point out that Booker has stuff that makes it so that if Flanders punches him he'll get burned or electrocuted or possessed
