Olimar Fights Something His Own Size (Olimar vs Velvet Ant)

Okay, so Nemo managed to find a tiny creature that can actually match Olimar: a Velvet Ant. Funnily enough, it's about Olimar's own size (1.9 cm for a red velvet ant). So yeah, gonna try that. For this one, well...

1. Speed is equalized

2. Olimar is without his Pikmin for once.

Velvet ants seem comparable to most Pikmin enemies, but I don't think Olimar himself would be able to tank a sting from one. If he has the bomb rocks and the sprays then he definitely could win, though.

Holding my vote for now.

I don't think Olimar can carry bomb rocks. All the bomb rock encounters I've seen from Olimar is either his Pikmin carrying them or from him finding bomb rocks laying around, punching them, and hauling ass because he doesn't want to get blown up. I don't think Central Park would have any gunpowder (at least I think that's what the bomb rocks are) lying around.

I can't say how much the Ultra Bitter Spray would work in battle. The petrification from it is rather short; just nine seconds. Ultra Spicy Spray... Eh, I don't think that worked on anything other than Pikmin, but I think that's purely game mechanics being too strict on that one. Dunno how the speed amp from Ultra Spicy Spray would change the outcome of the battle, though.

Hmm... Hard to tell which one makes the outcome more fair. Having both at the same time would probably be a stomp in Olimar's favor, but that's just my guess.
 
Pretty Sure Olimar takes this, Olimar should be used to fighting things like this. If he can defeat a Titan Dweevil, im pretty sure he can take the Velvet Ant.

Anyways Bomb Rocks for the win FRA

That was because Olimar had to constantly throw yellow Pikmin at the Dweevil. Olimar on his own isn't really any different in AP from a single individual yellow or blue Pikmin.

Via poison manipulation, and it's sting, also with its fragrance manipulation which wont do much to olimar offensively. Then again this is if the Velvet Ant gets close to Olimar.
 
I dunno if the suit will even be broken considering Olimar's durability. Not only that but Olimar could just petrify the insect

Yea that could just be the conclusion, if so Olimar destroys it, james bond style.

Ehh... Its stings are much less toxic than that of a honey bee or a harvester ant. Sure, the stinger will make Olimar keel over in pain, but Olimar's durability is around 22.6 joules.

Then again, in its defense, the sting of a velvet ant was painful enough (yes, pain itself can be a bitch, as one can be knocked unconscious just from sheer pain alone) to kill a side-blotched lizard, which could go for 60 mm in snout-to-vent length.
