But that's the point, understanding is not about understanding concepts. That's something everyone can do even if some more complex ones would be hard unless you are smart enough.
Understanding is about copying abilities by... well, understanding. Kars getting what the hell Beyond is doesn't mean he caps at low 1-C.

Kars' Understanding isn't some sort of magial power, it's simply something natural to him, it isn't supernatural in amyway despite it allowing him to copy and even adapt to supernatural powers and such, as such unless Scion's null extends down to things as simple as breathing then Kars' understanding should be fine.
I'd also like to point out Kars' understanding allows him to copy low 2-C powers at a glance without even seeing the thing, and yes, that's accepted, we have D4CU as having universe creation on the profile and it was mentioned and talked about already in a thread awhileback, we just don't have a tier for it. Ergo unless Scion has shown the capabilities of nulling a universal-esque power (albeit not physically low 2-C) then Kars' Understanding (in quotation) should be sufficient to have him understand Scion's powers and negation and circumvent that as Kars' has shown the capability of adapting and copyig powers on such a scale with ease, in fact Kars, depending on the mechanics of the ability in question, could possibly copy the negation and use it against Scion.
Do with that information what you will, I probably won't have the time to heavily debate this match. I only got enough time to check in like once a day as of late.
