The season 4 premiere gave us some really impressive hax in just 30 minutes.

Rick becomes Funny Valentine
So, spoilers, Rick dies in like, the first five minutes of the episode. However, remember Project Phoenix? From the Tiny Rick episode? While C137 Rick might've axed the project, his alternate universe counterparts did not, so he "backs up" into one of the clones in the alternate universes. There's an infinite amount of universes, and the episode shows that it's not a one time thing, as he dies three times more and reboots in different universes. So...yeah. Rick has 2-A resurrection.

Rick and Morty attain death based Path to Victory
The macguffin of the episode is something called Death Crystals. It shows you all the ways you could die. For example, turning left gets you shot in the head by someone hiding behind that rock over there, but turn right, and you die old in a hospital surrounded by your loved ones. While Rick has a bunch in his car, Morty is the one who abuses it this episode, and he uses it to great avail. In order to get his path of dying old with Jessica, he no diffs bullies and the US army, gets out of trial by repeating the last words of the judge's dead husband (that only she knows), and makes a specific noise of unintelligible whale-like sounds that makes everyone watching his trial forgive him. The caveat is that the future he's looking to is so far into the future that it doesn't give him context. Jessica isn't his old wife telling him she loves him on his death bed, she's a hospice worker comforting lonely dying people, Morty being one of them. However, it's still very combat applicable, as it shows you what paths you need to avoid to get out of certain deaths. When Morty encountered a bully that was going to kill him, it showed him every way the bully would kill him if he took certain paths, guiding Morty so he doesn't die to the bully, hence Morty low diffing the bully and his gang.

Idk how tv verses work but I'd think you still gotta cite this stuff somehow

Though from what you've explained to me, these things would work like that if correct

There's also some minor things like Rick having a weapon in his garage that rips apart the opponent's DNA, turning the opponent into a blob. Also some weird bomb like thing that sucks you into it. Idk if it's BFR or something else tho. Also it's not standard equipment.

I agree with Wokistan that there should be more scans of this. And I do vaguely recall 2-A being brought up before.

Everything seems fine to me too, also it would be good to just post links or snippets of info with context for other people that arrive so you should probably edit it in your top post just incase.

Edit:eek:n a side note for the weapons I think it could be fair to allow him to use them, but only if we know what it does and OP personally state Rick can use them in a fight since they are not part his standard equipments.

Full support here. Honestly imo just watching the episode itself would be helpful since it pretty much explains it there.

There's also the stuff morty uses against the police and military and the weird ferrofluid that turned a hologram into a real tangible person.

Agree with these changes. Rick and Morty both get optional precog, and Rick gets 2-A resurrection.

here are somethings from episode 2 that could probably add new things.

(3:30) has a device that can analysis the environment to see how events occured.

(10:40) Has some sort of "armour bubble suit" that shoots lasers/energy beam from his eyes.

(12:39) has a gaint Rick Mech.

(14:05) Has a matrix like bubble

The device and armour bubble suit can be added to his base key as they are just something that he seems to have on himself. Also should have Energy Projection as the armour can shoot lasers/energy beams.

The mech can be added to his preperation key.

Not as great as the previous buffs but how can you top 2A resurrection?

Anyway easily approved

Man I didn't expect to feel for Rick that way. And damnit Jerry not again.

Are we sure that 2-A resurrection would be viable enough for matches?

Couldn't it end up as self-incap or self-BFR by transferring Rick to a timeline where he can't interact with the opponent and can't get back to fight them? Do we know how long it took Rick to get back to his main timeline in episode 1?

I think it was only a day at most. Maybe 2 days. So it can be restricted.

Granted with prep time he could basically do this with guarantee of where he'll respawn via his own Operation Phoenix.

We don't restrict abilities like that (broken resurrection/immortality) any more.

Fair point of prep time, but we don't know how long he took to make his own Operation Phoenix functional.

@GojiBoy But he says that fascist Ricks are the norm, it seems like that'd be what usually happens when he has to go through his backups.

If we saw him quickly come back through Operation Phoenix in other episodes I'd be inclined to agree, but if the only feat of it shows an obvious drawback we need to include that drawback.

Just trying to recall, is this actually the first time Rick died? Fair point on the how long it would take. Though imo it shouldn't take too long for someone like him. But yeah it depends

Usually @ for dont restrict abilities, but the case for this one makes it a yes or no sort of deal
