Healing and Statistics Amplification (Via Battle Cry, which also heals status aliments)
Pseudo-Teleportation and limited Durability Negation (Via Abise-Geri and Tsuda, which are stated to deal internal damage)
Statistics Reduction (Via Tsuda)
Paralysis Inducement (Via Max Bomber)
Resistance to Paralysis Inducement, Mind Manipulation, Status Effect Inducement (Via King's Fang)
What advantage do you think he has over Bokuhi? The only one I see is Range while Bokuhi outstats him in AP/Durability/Striking Strength, enabling him to 1 shot.
It's stated on some of the 7-C profiles, they treat enemies who cause magnitude 6 earthquakes as fodder, so Masaru is >>> 15.1 kilotons.
Battle Cry amps Masaru's AP and durability while also healing him slightly. The Medicine Box, which is equipment, does the same thing but heals significantly.
Abise-Geri is an attack that essentially lets Masaru teleport through his opponent, which is stated to deal internal damage. Tsuda is an attack that I believe also deals internal damage while also reducing the opponents AP and durability.
Max Bomber seems to paralyse an opponent through the sheer shockwaves that the attack sends through their body. It's one of Masaru's more powerful moves.
The King's Fang protects Masaru from any in-game status effect. This is resistance on the scale of several to dozens of people.
Masaru is also likely far more skilled. The profile goes into detail about this somewhat, but on his journey he's essentially mastered seven different martial arts and can analyse + replicate techniques after seeing them once. Generally martial arts techniques, but it can copy elemental stuff like Aloha Clap and Earth Rending Fury too.
That's still unquantifiable so don't really know what to make of that, so there's at least a minimum gap of * 4.38211921
And someone like the proclaimed Demon King could survive the crater which gave the characters their rating without a scratch (Durability feat which applies as AP for them since other characters can hurt him), while it's unknown if he was in the center of it at that time, he should've been in it since he was climbing his hardest to prove that he can't die in a place like that - https://i.imgur.com/gkgP7hp.png
And Bokuhi and any notable Character in the Series are laughably above the Demon King as he's a gag character, so their AP should be above the crater calc by a lot; which should still enable Bokuhi to 1-shot
His stats increases even more when the Monkey King takes over, such as getting behind Kinji without being noticed - https://imgur.com/a/Lv7tNTj
Looks like this dude is from video game thing so I don't really know how Healing works in a VS Thread
Bokuhi doesn't use martial arts so he can't be copied although he's not really that experienced so Masaru has the experience advantage, although I don't know if he has one over the Monkey King as he's known as the Great Sage - Equal of Heaven, and someone like Kinji has lived for over 800 years while the Monkey King is unknown; what I'm saying is someone like the Monkey King should likely have better experience given his past
How does Masarus's Aloha Clap and Earth Rending Fury work in terms of how they look like? If they're just shockwaves, then Bokuhi will just fly outta there, so he can just go up and down to attack Masaru or defend from his attacks, like the shockwaves from the Max Bomber, while Abise-Geri is probably a close-range attack, so it can be easily evaded
tl;dr - Bokuhi and any notable characters are above the Demon King which also survived the crater which gives them their durability, which scales to their AP for damaging each those affected. And the Monkey King can pretty much damage those attacking Bokuhi heavily when he couldn't really harm them that much, likely out-speeding them too. While they're fighting Bokuhi/Monkey King, they'll be seeing instances of what would happen to them due to his killing intent or the Aura of the Monkey King pretty much pressuring them
I don't know how his Healing will function in a literal VS-Thread since he's a game character and Bokuhi doesn't have any Martial Arts experience so he ain't being copied while Masaru has an experience advantage, although the Monkey King should have since he should have lived far longer than someone like Kinji due to his fame/title/being inspired by the Journey to the West version so he should be experienced.
Unknown how the aforementioned moves that Masaru copied functions, like how they look and if it's a punch whose shockwave eventually reaches far after a certain period of time passes/an energy beam/etc. Or how long his Battle Cry takes for it to take effect, example (screaming for a few seconds to gain the amp), and how long it lasts; is the reducement of stats permanent for Abise-Geri or temporarily?
Bokuhi can dodge Masaru's attack cause he has flight, so he can outspeed the Max Bomber's shockwaves while just hit-and-running Masaru continuously
Foddering 15.1 kiloton characters is a more impressive feat than tanking something with no notable damage. The AP gap should be less than or equal to 4.3x, and Bokuhi certainly doesn't one-shot.
Seems like there was a time gap which could have allowed Bokuhi to heal there. Doesn't seem very quantifiable to me.
A gag character isn't inherently weaker than the rest of the cast. Are they show to be laughably above the Demon King, or is this just an assumption? Either way, not as impressive as treating someone like fodder.
Bokuhi's illusion creation doesn't seem very obstructive. Masaru has fought people with more impressive illusion creation in the form of afterimages, he should be more than fine with Bokuhi's illusions especially with his sheer skill.
Lower level healing (e.g. Battle Cry) would likely heal small wounds and increase stamina by a bit, higher level healing (e.g. Medicine Box, certain items) would heal larger wounds, cuts etc. Also remember that every type of healing that Masaru has also amps his stats, closing the AP gap further.
So Bokuhi doesn't have any combat form? Masaru massively outskills then due to his mastery of seven different, varied martial arts. 800 years of experience is nice but also very unquantifiable. Was he fighting for all of that time? Were his opponents a match for him? What did he learn through his experience? Were his opponents skillful enough that he could learn from fighting them? In some cases, a character who spends several years just going around and fighting the most powerful and most skilled martial artists in the world (Masaru) could be more experienced than someone who's lived for 800 years if those 800 years weren't spent fighting significant battles.
All of Masaru's forms of statistic reduction are permenant, yes.
Masaru's Aloha Clap is a wind based attacks that fires several mini tornadoes at the opponent in quick succession. Earth Rending Fury is essentially an earthquake that also fires rocks up at the opponent. In terms of flight, Masaru has dealt with a lot of flying opponents before, and has even suplexed a battleship as stated on his profile. Plus Bokuhi doesn't seem to have any ranged moves, so he has to get in CQC range with Masaru to harm him, which given how skilled Masaru is... Also, Masaru's superior lifting strength means that he can easily grapple Bokuhi if he tries any hit and run tactics, and will use durability negating moves such as Abise-Geri if he seems to be outclassed, which will end the fight.
And there's really no known numbers for Masaru, so his Stats are stuck at being above between 15.1 Kilotons to 100 Kilotons even if he can fodderize 15.1 KT characters
As you can see here, Bokuhi punches the Demon King once and he goes down while spraying blood (This Series has lots of 3rd Wall Breaking) - https://imgur.com/a/6EyRNup
And that's even before he opened a book that released the seal of his powers, so he's still recovering his power - https://s5.********.org/data/a99a7cb85f902d1e3bfc432f156e8fc7/x17.png
There's no point in Bokuhi taking too long to arrive there when he's supposed to be protecting her, hence why he's even on a journey with her. Although he indeed take time to choose his wig, so he probably knew that he could wipe the floor with him (the dude couldn't even fight back as he was too fast to see), as seen in the next few pages of that instance - https://imgur.com/a/3vqVOZZ
As you can see here, the moment he wakes up he chooses to choose a wig, and you can see there's no damage to him when he puts his wig on, then he came to the area where the girl was and was choosing another wig as he arrived half an hour ago as I said above - https://imgur.com/a/3vqVOZZ
While you can see the Demon King just trying to get out of the hole by climbing cause he can't fly, taking him a long time just to do so with no damage on him - https://s5.********.org/data/2ae34133348871f0965440d15c6346d7/x12.jpg
They also don't have Healing at this point so no chance of them healing their injuries, while the Demon King still doesn't at the current point while Bokuhi can use the Yogurt Gourd or receive the girl's love to Heal
This isn't even taking into account the Monkey King taking over, increasing his Stats like I said above cause he could heavily damage and intimidate Rakshasa and Kinji
In the Discord Server, a 7.5 gap is seen as a one-shot, and while their gap is certainly not 7.5, it's still enough for Bokuhi to deal major damage while tanking Masaru's attacks albeit will still get hurt
Afterimage Creations aren't literal Illusion Creations as they're literally just moving too fast for the others to see, and in this case is impossible as the Speed is Equal. And having experience doesn't mean they can just break through Illusions with sheer will while someone like Rakshasa has such a potent Killing Intent that he made dozens of Villagers see an Illusion just by letting out his Killing Intent - https://imgur.com/a/jMECVIS
Masaru still has to deal with Bokuhi's Killing Intent which will show Masaru what will happen to him if he attempts to attack Bokuhi, while Bokuhi can just try punching him repeatedly while Masaru's distracted - https://imgur.com/ehBWckB
That's not even taking the Monkey King's Killing Intent into account, which will pressure Masaru even more seeing as just his Killing Intent could scare Rakshasa - https://imgur.com/a/9IXSA1i
So Masaru has to use abilities and items to heal or amp his stats, then Bokuhi can just try fighting him in close-range so Masaru has no chances to use them
Since the story is based off on the Journey to the West, I doubt Sun Wukong is less experienced than Masaru, but I've never read it so I can't judge and as of now Masaru out-experiences Bokuhi, although there's no way he's leaving out unscathed in their clashes just because of experience
Where's the statement for Tsuda being able to reduce an opponent's Statistics? How does this even work? Does he have to touch Bokuhi for this to even work
Has it been explicitly said that the Aloha Claps are mini tornadoes? Just because they're said to be tornadoes doesn't mean they have the exact same size as tornadoes and looks like they can be dodged with Flight as he has to aim them. While you say Earth Rending Fury is an earthquake, so I guess this just means he can stomp his feet hard enough in the ground to produce an "earthquake" while also affecting the rocks in the area? Which is this - https://youtu.be/51IGd5oGntM?t=401 That doesn't really seem useful and how can you even tell that it fires rocks up at the opponent. The way I see it, the dude's just so big that the moment he lands, the rocks goes up cause he's big, kind of like a bouncing trampoline where you put something in it like a rock then you go into the trampoline, making the rock go up
How does Masaru's durability negating moves work? Where's the statements that says they're able to deal internal damage? Doesn't look like Abise-Geri deals internal damage - https://youtu.be/3hWrPpFmZ4I?t=30
Even if he grapples him, that just makes it even better for Bokuhi as he'll be closed enough to damage him if Masaru grapples Bokuhi's head as an example, so he'll just attempt to punch Masaru, hurting him even more as he has a higher gap to him than Masaru does to Bokuhi. Grappling Bokuhi's legs? Just punch Masaru's feet till it hurts. One of his arms? Just punch his. Or the Monkey King can just take over and remove his own arm then reattach it later while also absorbing the energy of Masaru. Where even is the statement of him supplexing a battleship?
And there's this from Bokuhi, but he only used it once so it's unknown if he can do it in battle - https://i.imgur.com/oIoavr3.jpg
Also this, but it's unknown if it's a miniature version of the one above or if he's just so fast that he can get a boulder and drop it on his opponent, but since he did something like this as shown above (dropping a huge rock), it's probably possible - https://i.imgur.com/n31miaP.jpg
You really need to put Videos with Time Stamps and Pictures of this dude cause I can't waste enough time to find their Feats
My point with the AP was that Bokuhi's upscaling is likely moot due to Masaru's own upscaling. The AP gap should stay at 4.3x.
You don't need healing as an ability to recover from stuff over time. Of course, so long as the damage wasn't serious/life-threatening etc.
Afterimages aren't just via speed (although dealing with someone who is fast enough to create afterimages around you is probably more impressive), they can also be done through techniques which makes them more akin to illusion creation/duplication. What Masaru's experience means, along with his skill and will, is that he won't be as distracted/pressured by Bokuhi's illusions, especially as they seem to be more like lower-level illusions, or as I said above, hardly obstructive.
They are shown to be mini tornadoes. Specifically mini ones, about the size of a human. As for Earth Rending Fury, as stated in the profile, Masaru can mimic and perfectly replicate techniques including Earth Rending Fury. Meaning he can use the Earth Rending Fury with the same effect as Jackie's (as shown by the animations) without being 500kg heavier for it.
Here's the statement. His two techniques are Tsuda and Abise-Geri, hence why they're the ones that can deal internal damage. As for the stats reduction, it's just a thing that Tsuda always does without a real explanation. I don't know what else to tell you really. If it helps, this website has the in-game descriptions and effects of all moves, though it's under a different japanese translation. The game in general is only available to the west via a fan translation, so getting footage/scans for this game is quite hard. Most of the stuff is on his profile already though, and I'm gonna add a notable attacks/techniques section soon as well. The battleship thing is an enemy encounter in the final chapter; I don't have a clip for it, but it's accepted and on the profile, and it'd be hard for me to get a clip of so I'd rather if you took my word for it. Not saying I wouldn't, but it'd take a while if you wanted me to.
Now, for getting into CQC with Masaru and why it's a horrible idea. You already know the massive skill gap between Masaru and Bokuhi. Within Masaru's skill set, lifting strength advantage aside, Masaru knows several full body, arm and leg locks mimiced from a professional with locks. Punching somebody when they've already grappled most of your body is hard enough, seeing as a punch is most effective while you're able to put your body weight behind it and have enough space to get this weight behind it which you don't have while grappled, but when your opponent is efficiently breaking your arms and legs preventing them from being used, you're rendered defenceless. One of Brock Lesnar's first UFC fights had Brock as the stronger fighter, but when his opponent grappled him, he had to tap out early on because he didn't had enough training with dealing with grapples.
Since their AP/Durability gap is 4.3x, Bokuhi will still be hitting Masara harder than what Masara could do to him in terms of AP
As said in the Afterimage Creation page: An afterimage is an artistic effect where a character appears to leave faint silhouettes behind them, which are often transparent, like a ghost. These are usually used to emphasize fast movement, and are often used in combat to mislead opponents as to the actual location of the user. It naturally occurs when a character is moving too quickly for the eye to track accurately, causing the brain to incorrectly process these images. At best, the only speed such feats can qualify for in themselves is in the Subsonic range - some people may claim that afterimages mean a character is moving faster than light, but that is both faulty reasoning and an outlier for many characters regardless.
The Killing Intent Bokuhi/Monkey King will exude Ôëá Afterimage Creation, which is just movement in speed. Even though Bokuhi's Killing Intent pales in comparison to the Monkey King, Masaru will have stop and think about what he'll do if he sees what will happen to him due to Bokuhi's KI, in which if they fought during that time he should've seen the damage he likely could have taken cause of the 4.3x gap. While just the Monkey King's KI will pressure him so he'll either not move due to the pressure unless Masaru doesn't feel fear from someone stronger than Bokuhi who already is stronger than himself - https://imgur.com/a/9IXSA1i
At the very least, he'll have to think twice about what he's gonna be doing just like Kinji just because of the sheer pressure of the KI - https://imgur.com/iiqmXpI
Since Aloha Clap can reach upto 3 tiles and Masaru is as big as 1 tile, the average height of a japanese man is 172 cm or 5.6 ft, therefore Aloha Clap has as much range as 16.8 ft aka 5 meters while it's as big as a japanese man
I still disagree with him being able to use Earth Rending Fury as I see it as a skill that requires him to be heavy to even do it, like Jackie, although he did copy it so a video of him actually using it could dispel the doubt.
Meaning 16.8 ft aka 5 meters around him, unless there's some kind of thing that says otherwise for the both of them
The internal damage from Abise-Geri doesn't seem to do that much damage compared to Jackie's Earth Rendering Fury as seen in here - https://youtu.be/51IGd5oGntM?t=401
Enlightened in the Japanese technique of bare-handed killing, Moribe's strikes can pierce even the toughest armor, yet can damage internal organs without breaking the skin
Abise-Geri is in no way something that uses your bare hands as it explicitly says that it's a kick tech. Tsuda is also suspicious since it shows breaking your arm if it doesn't miss, yet the dude's description says that it can damage internal organs so how does an arm equal internal organs. This dude either does or doesn't, and I'm inclined to lean with the latter.
Looks like Battle Cry is more of a recovery technique, saying that it recovers status, so I doubt it can actually amp him permanently - https://youtu.be/51IGd5oGntM?t=790
Depending on who you are and how you're built, you have several options if a control technique doesn't work. You can try make it work by using brute force, but that can fail — especially if your assailant is stronger than you are. You can release the hold and try to subdue him another way, but that frequently proves to be an even poorer choice. - https://blackbeltmag.com/arts/japan...niques-do-not-always-work-and-how-to-fix-them
Pretty sure Bokuhi will have enough time to punch Masaru since they're close range and his arms or legs won't immediately break just because they're on a lock, especially since Bokuhi has a 4.3x gap for Durability and also for his AP so he'll be damaging Masaru real good if he attempts to do locks
He can insert Ki into his feet and fly around so that he can crash Masaru into the surroundings, which would likely prompt Masaru to remove the lock so that he won't get damaged - https://i.imgur.com/PPnIQ4T.png
Even then, when the Monkey King takes over he can just fix his arm with an unknown way, as seen when Kinji took it away from him - https://imgur.com/a/XIPU0qQ
More proof is when there's no part of his arm in here - https://s5.********.org/data/022288a25bf2a5bf996661317f8ce191/x8.png / https://s5.********.org/data/dd73f4d2f072e86710fd317d7992c4bb/x11.png
The Monkey King will take over when he's enraged as seen with Rakshasa or when it seems like he faints as seen in here - https://s5.********.org/data/dd73f4d2f072e86710fd317d7992c4bb/x11.png
So if Masaru thinks he's won it when he thinks that Bokuhi fainted, he's in for a dead life
I think just fewer hits from the Monkey King compared to Bokuhi should kill Masaru as not only is there a 4.3x gap between Bokuhi and Masaru, the Monkey King increases this even more as he was able to force Rakshasa into thinking that his life is done for in 1 hit (or was it due to the pressure of the Monkey King, we'll never know) - https://imgur.com/a/oNRvdVy
Although it's likely that the Monkey King won't last long since he reverted to Bokuhi after seeing Caroline, albeit it could be because she appeared that he even reverted back to Bokuhi as he was gonna go in for the kill against Kinji, so he likely did it by choice upon seeing Caroline - https://s5.********.org/data/96eefbdbee148b18516d4336b38227fd/x8.png
While there's an unknown timeframe of when the Monkey King reverted to Bokuhi after beating Rakshasa half to death - https://imgur.com/a/jvFdBBE
So an unknown timeframe of how long the Monkey King lasts but it should be enough to deal just fewer hits from the Monkey King compared to Bokuhi to kill Masaru
tl;dr - It's either Inconclusive or Bokuhi for me but I think I'll vote for Bokuhi for now 5.5/10
I guess I'll summarize the match in here based on what I think it concludes into
tl;dr - Bokuhi wins via having higher Stats by 4x at a minimum which will increase when the Monkey King takes over. Illusion Creation from his Killing Intent will intimidate Masaru. Masaru has the experience advantage and he'll likely use grappling moves (head/leg/arm locks) but he'll be hit by a barrage of Bokuhi's attacks even closer which will likely prompt him to disable the locks. Flight for Bokuhi so he can run away and heal by drinking his Yogurt Gourd or the Monkey King can use his Regenerationn when damaged excessively, although Masaru can also heal and amplify his stats by an unknown amount by screaming while the Monkey King can absorb his energy.
>Bokuhi wins via having higher Stats by 4x at a minimum which will increase when the Monkey King takes over.
This ignores Masaru's own amps, which he can use in conjunction with healing and which stack, and Masaru's own stat reductions which also stack. The longer this battle goes, the more the gap is closed, and Medicine Box's significant healing allows this battle to go on for a while.
>Illusion Creation from his Killing Intent will intimidate Masaru.
Masaru has dealt with illusions before, this shouldn't be much of a factor
>Masaru has the experience advantage and he'll likely use grappling moves (head/leg/arm locks) but he'll be hit by a barrage of Bokuhi's attacks even closer which will likely prompt him to disable the locks.
You can't really attack someone with a barrage of attacks when they're grappling you. You need space to attack CQC properly, and anyway Masaru's suplexes can paralyse his opponent which will at least stun Bokuhi.
>Flight for Bokuhi so he can run away and heal by drinking his Yogurt Gourd or the Monkey King can use his Regenerationn when damaged excessively, although Masaru can also heal and amplify his stats by an unknown amount by screaming while the Monkey King can absorb his energy.
Idk about energy absorption, but flying gives Masaru a good chance to heal and amp up. He's not completely defenceless at range either.
Abise-geri is fair, but I'd rather take in-game statements over its game animation when evaluating Tsuda.
As for Earth Rending Fury, here's in-game data showing that Masaru learns Earth-Rending Fury. These are translated differently, but it's the bottom skill, shown by how it's the only skill with the Type "Earth".
Worth mentioning for a summary that Masaru is a master in at least 6 martial arts and is very skilled, while Bokuhi isn't skilled much at all.
Literally walls of texts if you click all of them - [Expand]
1st - Amps/Reducts with no notable numbers. Using Battle Cry and his items will leave him vulnerable since he will take some time to utilize them. Healing effect has no actual known effect in real life as in-game just heals a fraction of user's total HP and adds to his current HP so for all we know he can somehow go from the brink of death to being full of vitality, having 1 hp to full hp if used continuously, which is probably impossible.
2nd - Never saw his opponents use Afterimages in the clips I've seen. You say that "Masaru has fought people with more impressive illusion creation in the form of afterimages, he should be more than fine with Bokuhi's illusions especially with his sheer skill." So meaning he obviously knows that one of them is the person doing the afterimages as after all, it's a 1v1 and he obviously knows that one of them is his real opponent while Bokuhi's Killing Intent which has what will happen to you if affected is something that he has never experienced as he won't know if what he's seeing is a literal illusion or not until he gets punched by Bokuhi or if it ends, so he has another thing to keep in mind and it's that the things that he might see will likely be fake or not, and getting distracted in a fight is pretty much gonna be a vital part of the outcome as he won't know if what he's seeing is real or not like I said already.
3rd - Doesn't look like the German Suplex in-game has a high chance of stunning. Looking at the videos I provided for Cross Heel Hold and Arm Lock, looks like he can technically still punch the dude in the legs with his 2 hands and obviously kick him with his other leg / punch the dude in the back or abdomen with his other hand. Looks like it could also be escapable as Bokuhi can pretty much just fly out of it by concentrating his Ki on his feet and moving around
4th - Statements whose feats contradict them or can't back them up shouldn't be used.
5th - Earth Rending Fury is probably just him kicking some rocks at his opponents, which is common in mangas while Aloha Clap is probably just him punching fast enough to make a few gusts of wind.
6th - Doesn't look like he actually mastered any Martial Arts as he seemed to have only learned 2 techniques from each of the Characters. And he hasn't really mastered the techniques at all as he's just going around the world learning each of them, with him seemingly only learning 2 specific techniques from each of them with his intro even saying that he's going around the world to learn the combat styles of the world. Learning specific techniques does not equal mastering the respective Martial Arts. Being skilled isn't the deciding factor to a fight as there are other variables to it. Take a Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Deontay Wilder for example, one who is regarded as a really skilled boxer and the other someone that's above the former's weight class. Even if FMJ is really skilled, there's just no way he can keep survive 12 rounds (36 minutes) with DW, especially since the dude will hit him harder than what FMJ has experienced in the weight classes he's been.
Worth mentioning for a summary that Masaru is a master in at least 6 martial arts and is very skilled, while Bokuhi isn't skilled much at all.
Looks like he only learned 2 movesets from each of the Characters in the game. And he hasn't really mastered them all as he's just going around the world to learn each of them first and foremost. And I'm pretty sure that just because you know how to utilize the techniques doesn't mean you're suddenly a master of the art you're learning from, especially if he's only learning the offensive techniques of the martial arts and not something that could help support him in a fight. For example in boxing, if you were to say that the offensive techniques are the jab, hook, and uppercut, then the footwork, how to guard yourself from various attacks/angles, etc. would probably be the defensive techniques.
Being a master of a few martial arts and being skilled don't just decide the outcome of a fight as there are other variables to a fight. Unless you think someone like Floyd Mayweather Jr. who is known as a pretty skilled boxer can beat someone like Deontay Wilder of a higher weight class just because he's skilled. Said Deontay Wilder will inflict damage that Floyd has never ever felt in his boxing career as he's fighting someone of a higher weight class instead of people that should be in his own weight class.
As for Earth Rending Fury, here's in-game data showing that Masaru learns Earth-Rending Fury. These are translated differently, but it's the bottom skill, shown by how it's the only skill with the Type "Earth".
Looks like Earth Rending Fury is described as flying rocks, with him stomping the grounds just for the rocks to magically appear. How does this even work now. It's clearly obvious that they don't literally have magic so it's probably just him kicking a few rocks at his opponents after stomping the ground hard enough for them to go high so he can kick them around. As for the Aloha Clap, looks like it's literally just him jabbing fast enough to somehow create a few gusts of wind
Abise-geri is fair, but I'd rather take in-game statements over its game animation when evaluating Tsuda.
Statements whose feats contradict them shouldn't be used, seeing as how his statement said that he's enlightened in bare-handed killing yet has 2 Skills which one of them is a technique related to his feet but since he's a master of bare-handed killing you'd think he'd have full on bare-handed movesets. While Tula Han's said that he can fight with both mind and body as one, being able to bend both to extreme measures. Unless if you think he can literally bend his mind, that's just impossible. There's even Jackie Iaukea's in-game statement saying that he uses his sumo skills in international wrestling yet his 2 notable Skills are him just stomping the ground heavy enough to make rocks go up and somehow being able to conjure a few gusts of wind instead of some kind of sumo skill
You can't really attack someone with a barrage of attacks when they're grappling you. You need space to attack CQC properly, and anyway Masaru's suplexes can paralyse his opponent which will at least stun Bokuhi.
Looks he only has these 3 as his grappling techniques as far as I could see: Cross Heel Hold (Pin legs/Prevent move) and Arm Lock (Hold Tech/Pin arms), and probably this one German Supplex (Hold Tech/Paralysis), which is the stun that you were probably talking about.
Masaru has dealt with illusions before, this shouldn't be much of a factor
Who has Masaru even fought that has Illusion Creation. I watched some of the parts of the 1st and [2nd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1Pty6yBrfY] episodes of this dude's Chapter and I haven't seen any with it as far as I know.
You said they were in the form of Afterimages, which are literally created by moving too fast for the others to see. So pretty much just him fighting a 1v1 with someone who can create afterimages with his speed, so of course Masaru would know that one of them out of all the afterimages is the real opponent. While Bokuhi's Killing Intent will literally make you see what happens to you, like I showed above so there's no way for him to know that what he sees isn't real as he has no knowledge of it beforehand unlike the Afterimage Creations where he obviously knows that one of them is the opponent.
This ignores Masaru's own amps, which he can use in conjunction with healing and which stack, and Masaru's own stat reductions which also stack. The longer this battle goes, the more the gap is closed, and Medicine Box's significant healing allows this battle to go on for a while.
Stat amps and Stat reductions with no notable number, unless if you have the actual number of how much they can affect; for all we know their multiplier is probably just something like .01 which will be useless in a short fight instead of something notable like 3 or more.
As for the Healing, Battle Cry will leave him vulnerable since he has to perform some a few actions before it takes effect. Looks like the Medicine Box is an item, so it's not like he has the time to just use it and all the other items which can Heal him freely when there's a living opponent coming for him.
"Lower level healing (e.g. Battle Cry) would likely heal small wounds and increase stamina by a bit, higher level healing (e.g. Medicine Box, certain items) would heal larger wounds, cuts etc." How would the effects of the healing moves even work in real life. The game just shows them being healed a certain amount of HP, being added to their current HP over the total HP they have. There's no way they can actually go back from the brink of death to being full of vigor if their HP went from 1 to their full HP
