Yeah Koji takes this quite easily.

Now one of you make Koji vs Baku.

What even was a wincon for light here lol.
Killing Ayanokouji before he can prove Light is Kira, but the problem was Light just isn't smart enough to win. Additionally Ayanokouji is a much better counter to Light than L was. Light and L had very similar personalities in the sense that both of them considered their hunt to expose each other as a game where they want to prove they were smarter. Light's ego drove him to find L's real name and kill him. L, even though he was mostly sure Light was Kira, strove to prove as such to legally convict Light. It would be massively out of character for Ayanokouji to treat this like a game.

He much prefers to plan from the shadows with his opponents never knowing that he exists. He spams contingencies on everything he does so even if Light were to suspect something or see through a layer of his plans, it wouldn't be enough. He also strategizes so that he is 100% certain of his victory and prefers not to take any uncontrolled risks, essentially Ayanokouji doesn't take gambles. He has almost verbatim said that if a strategy doesn't have essentially a 100% success rate he doesn't like it. So piece by piece he would profile Kira and discover his true identity while simultaneously ensuring that Kira has no ability to discover him.

That combined with the fact that Ayanokouji is just smarter than Light in literally every aspect (except Social Intelligence which is still closer than you think) makes it impossible for Light to really have a win-con.

My personal take on comparing them:

General Intelligence - Koji
Emotional Intelligence - Koji
Social Intelligence - Light>=
Manipulation - Koji
Deception - Koji
Strategy - Koji
Planning - Koji
Reasoning - Koji
Foresight - Koji
Countering - Koji
Thinking - Koji
Sensory - Koji

Koji vs Baku.
Baku solos the verse mid diff. There isn't really a scenario where Kiyotaka comes COMPARATIVELY close except for fixed situations.

Kiyotaka vs Vincent Lalo is honestly a fair battle though, can't think of a scenario however.
Social Intelligence - Light>=
This will change forever in just 2 volumes, trust; Kiyotaka's just began implementing the social engineering part for the class transfer plans, and that is going to reveal just how badly he can manipulate and cause different social situations because this is probably the first time Kiyotaka isn't becoming too opportunist with his approach and is engineering the entire situation himself. Too excited for the current volume release. 🔥 🥶
