Can non-corporeal characters harm each other naturally?

Lets say this, 2 non-corporeal ghosts that in their profiles don't have non-physical interaction listed. Can they harm each other by default given that they are both ghosts and exist in the same level or existence (or whatever you call it).

It depends entirely on the rules of the setting.

I have replied. We should preferably close this.

I'd say yes usually. A non-corporeal character should be able to interact with itself, after all.

Unless of course they've shown to be unable to.

I'd say assuming a ghost to be capable of interacting with other ghosts should be fair enough, unless the verse itself states otherwise

The verse I'm talking about (specifically Goosebumps), the very few times the ghosts have interacted/ fought each other they shown to be capable of touching each other, example Andrew Craw and Seth in the book The Headless Ghost

If they've been shown to be capable of touching each other, then they have non-physical interaction either way.

But those are just with specific characters, and I've been told not to scale characters to each other despite they are the same type of monster and from the same verse.

The verse seems to support the idea that ghosts can interact with other ghosts, I'd say it is fine to assume that's a general rule in the verse.

Alright (don't close the thread btw, gonna get some other Goosebunps fans like myself onto this thread)

A ghost should be able to interact with a ghost (if both are definied as the spirit of the dead), but its not necessary the same with all non-corporeal beings: insubstantial beings could interect with other insubstantial beings, but limited by their nature (like in the same way air interact with water), insubstantial beings are unable to interact with spiritual beings, as they are made of astral/esoteric matter; now, neither of those can interact with immaterial beings, and two immaterial beings aren't necessary able to interact with each other.

@Headless

Its a thread that is connected to goosebumps, also it wasn't a message directed to just you

@Anton

Guess that makes sense (but really the only part I care about is ghost part)
