Whelp... I was told to do this in a separate thread away from Hykuu's Sentry Thread... So here it is. I'm just going to get into the meat of things... But before I do... I understand some of you believe it was ignored immediately after it's publication or never mentioned in any form of Marvel so it's best we do the same. I'm here to inform you that this statement is horribly inaccurate as multiple handbooks, guides, and even a comic statements refer to it's existence :
Time to go into more detail into why I believe this is legitimate:
This will be focused on in Part 2... This thread is purely for the indication that by any form of Marvel it was not ignored, but mentioned several times... Even up to the more current years.
- A guidebook, which is usually utilized in terms of determining canonicity, was confirmed to reference the events in relation to Heroes Reborn, in 2007 ... 10 Years after the last publication of the Fallen Stars, proving it was never forgotten.
- It was also referenced in another Guidebook as well, in Issue 10 of "Offical Handbook of the Marvel Universe "... Again at least 10 or so Years after the creation of Peter Parker Annual 1999
- Offical Handbook of the Marvel Universe: 2006 also directly references the events by referring to the Fallen Stars as well.
- Marvel's Knight , Another comic years after the events of the Fallen Stars, directly refers to Man-Thing as a former member of the Fallen Stars and as Ka'dmon. This also directly references the Daydreamers comic, proving they are relevant , interconnected , and likely "canon" to the story as I once stated.
- Generation X acknowledges that Howard and Man-Thing know each other, and that he's the Guardian of the Nexus . The only other time he met him was quite literally during the Fallen Stars fiasco, essentially serving as a good tie in.
Time to go into more detail into why I believe this is legitimate:
- Hulk Comics directly reference these sets of comics as cano (This comic was not ignored whatsoever as Hulk remembers fighting Man-Thing, Man-Thing rememebers similar in future comics, this comic is used as a ference guide to other comics, etc) , by referencing Peter Parker Annual 1999 as well as Man-Thing remember being the Vessel of the Spirit of the First Ma [AKA: Adam Ka'dmon of the Fallen Stars]
- Peter Parker Annual 1999 being canon makes the marvunapp entry for the Fallen Stars as accurate, as it references Ted and his Wife being a part of the Nexus. It also clearly shows the most scaling options for them and makes the "possibly High 1-B" aspect not set in stone
- DeMatteis directly stated to the Marvunapp folks that "Adam Ka'dmon from the Fallen Stars and Oldfather Adam are the same entity ", essentially saying those comicsfrom the newer Man-Thing tie directly into those of old. The Man-Thing 2019 comics are obviously canon, as it is included in the Gamora's IG events and others of such nature
This will be focused on in Part 2... This thread is purely for the indication that by any form of Marvel it was not ignored, but mentioned several times... Even up to the more current years.
