Its not wank because it was outright stated when Gon and Killua encountered Hisoka using Nen

This also happened when Knov sensed Pitou's aura and when Palm killed herself because of the same thing
 
(It has been stated that without Ten, a Nen user is capable of inducing crippling fear, paralyzing people, and even outright killing them with Nen alone)

What I'm saying is: is Ten some sort of aura ?

Yeah and it certainly should not work against uoponents comparable in power. Nen is not soul based like reiatsu can at least be argued to be.

Last question: Can you resist nen crush by having yourself an overwhelming aura ?

It does work. Make a CRT if you disagree, because thats how it works right now
 
then how come youpi did not nen crush people like knuckle? who is far below him in aura? This aura bs is exactly the same thing people like zabuza have except we do not wank it to some hyper abilitiy that passively fear everyone around them. This is typical bloodlust stuff that happens when people are way out of another person's league in shounen.

his resistance should not nearly on the same level and the only reason he has resistances is because of this self fufilling chain of events.

Nen can "Nen crush" > Never nen crushes anyone but a couple of kids > therefore everyone has resistances to Nen crush> Nen can "Nen crush"

and so on.
 
So that's means that if you don't have resistance to death/fear manipulation and other Nen effects, meruem passively crushes you ?
 
and definitely not for Meruem, he has never used his Nen passively and he has never "Nen crushed" anyone in the first place.
