So like with the Bleach thread going on here on VS, i will be trying to do the same with Toriko. Except for this anything that happens, we may also do upgrades depending what happens on each chapters.

Hmm being close to the end it's a given that the characters will be recieving upgrades as for the heavenly kings being upgrade that's almost a given, there is literally no one else who can stand up to joa and acacia except if what toriko was implyng was that joa didnt actually win against midoriya as he somehow mangaged to escape or someone lets midoria out anyway the kings are the only ones who can do anything right now so they are gonna be boosted i also expect blue to at some point jump out of toriko like he did against heracles again.
 
He is not coming out it was stated that if he came out even for an instance toriko's body couldn't handle it and he would die, i still think there is gonna be a space arc after this because toriko hasn't even fully awakened blue much less the other guy.

Hmmm....another Arc though. One that takes place in space?

There have been hints across the story towards a possible space arc so it could happen i am thinking that acacia is gonna destroy the planet and toriko and the others are gonna be roaming in space acquiring new ingredients to get stronger to beat neo.
 
Huh. So i might have went a bit overboard that it's ending sooner and that we MIGHT have another arc?

Hmm. Well i mean if they into space and get some stuff to eat and power-up, that's fine by me really.
 
Hmm not sure anymore there should be a part 3 of toriko right now we are in part 2 and there have been hints of a space arc but idk anymore the manga recently has been rushed though that could be to faster get to the next arc or it's gonna end and the earth isn't gonna be destroyed, nah whether or not neo destroys the earth it's gonna be destroyed anyway because the earth has been cooked for a long time now and because of the eclispe so i think a space arc is gonna happen.
 
Well, if Toriko and his allies are able to fight 5-A characters, they should of course be upgraded accordingly.
 
I am aware of that, yes. I just prefer waiting because the fight just more or less started. @Antvasima
 
Well I guess we can wait a little bit, but a 5-A upgrade for the Kings is inevitable, Toriko is going to at least give Neo Acacia a fight like Full Power Jirou did, heck, perhaps even a better fight, I don't even think Neo is at his Full Power yet, same with Toriko considering him and everyone else haven't consumed God or Center yet which should no doubt give them another pretty big boost

I mean it's pretty inevitable since while Toriko is fighting one of the most powerful in the verse, the others (the 3 Heavenly Kings + Starjun) are going to be fighting against Joa and the other members of NEO, who are no doubt going to be very powerful....
 
I was seriously considering the space scene as mentioned earlier when Don Slime and Neo first started fighting, but that was a disappointment. I imagined them ending up in other planets with numbers incredibly high, making the number of the eight kings seem like a galala crocidile in comparison....but this ain't too bad. This upgrade for the kings (and starjun) should be done as ant said.
 
Right. So yeah, just have to give another chapter or so, see what happens, and then upgrade them.

I mean we COULD do that now....but it's better to wait and see how things play out a bit more...
 
Then we're in agreement. Alright so when things play out a little more, we can then probably upgrade them for reals this time?

I do not know. Coco and Sunny somehow recreated them, presumably far stronger than before.

Anybody want to give me a summary of what just transpered so far, please? Still trying to assess it in my head. ^^;
 
Well, apparently, both Neo and Toriko can now experience as much relative time within a second as a normal person can in a month. If somebody calculates that, we might be looking at a massive upgrade in speed.

He also told me in chat to wait longer cause so far, Toriko is just being smack-talked by Neo so.....there's that.

But it's alright, Antvasima. I can wait longer.

Never mind. If an ordinary person can move at around 7.7 m/s, and Toriko and Neo can move at a corresponding speed to their perceptions, that makes 20623680 m/s, which is 6.879319158856 % of the speed of light. The high tiers are already rated as FTL.
 
Well, for one, the scans have just stated that even the cells in a Bishokuya's bodies can move FTL so people who were concerned about them being FTL at this point should be abated by that.

However, I am unsure how to apply the time compression. He said that only people who have eaten NEWS or have command of their cells (total) can cause that time compression, meaning the top tiers should have already been using it. Maybe it can be applied as a stat multiplier to the speed calc of a character that has been confirmed to have not eaten NEWS/have control of their cells fully?
