Barney tries to befriend your favorite character

Barney approaches your favorite character with the intention of finding a new friend, regardless of who or what they are and try to befriend them with his cheerful nature or his Empathic Manipulation if needed.

The character barney is befriending is willing to listen to barney and they are not allowed to attack. Otherwise they are in character. Barney wins if he can convince your character to be his friend but loses if he cannot befriend them or gets turned down

Barney can communicate with beings on higher levels of existence because I supposed just how fiction works.

Anything that is considered as some kind of object that physically cant become barneys friend or anything is excluded.
 
I thought so but you put Reinhard and I got confused :p

Alex mercer, resist mind manip, his clothes are just his outer layer of biomass thus he lacks gentalia. He may agree to get barney alone and absorb him. Though in character he slams his fist into barney as the dinosaur starts talking.

Ainz, lacks genetalia, resist mental manip, can't experience strong emotions, ends conversation with barney and death hax/walks away.

Yeah they both resist barney's emotional manip after hes done talking and they reject him they are still liable to kill him for trying to proposition them in the first place. As understand it the protection ends when after they say no...

edit they are going to hear him out both resist and reject...Then they kill him anyway, saying that ainz may just walk away alex....Is going to kill him as soon as he can which is after rejecting him...
 
Ness: Well, the kid already Resist Empathic Manipulation on a much greater scale. So he'd probably have a blank expression as usual and walk away.

Claus: The boy is brainwashed and is pretty much emotionless since he only follows orders from Pokey Minch.

Lucas: He would like Barney a lot.

Giygas: If it doesn't include Maria's lullaby, then he'll just be pissed as usual. Mother 2 Giygas is too stupid to even comprehend what's going on.

Pokey: He'd laugh at first, but then he starts getting memories of Ness and now he's big sad.

Sweet Tooth: The dude suffers from Split personality disorder and just craves on murdering a lot of people. It's a possibility if Barney could reach towards the more nicer persona.

Calypso: Don't know about this one. He only started the contest to save his daughter and family so maybe it will work.

I mean. Barney doesn't have overwhelming charisma. So this thread doesn't really make much sense. Basically anybody who has a thing for purple playful dinosaurs won't reject.
 
My favorite character resists and blows Barney to bloody pieces for trying to enslave their minds
 
Barney has never been able to use empathic manip for seduction. Unlike reinhard, barney in character has absolutely no means to seduce someone at all, meaning that with this, you have to actively paint out a scenario of what Barney would be like actually trying to pull it off (which in most cases would jut be cringeworthy)

If this thread were "Barney tries to befriend your favorite character" then it would make a lot more sense
