A 1930's cartoon themed matchup that doesn't have Bendy. What are the odds?

While going mostly unnoticed by a lot of people here, likely for good reason, Skitzo has actually been dominating every single fight he's been a part of. With natural bloodlust and many useful abilities, it seems like there's really no stopping this demonic bear from simply dominating everything. However, today, I'm bringing in a character that has had plenty of experience dealing with characters like Skitzo, and may just be the one to rival the bear and finally take him down. So, will Cuphead survive replacing one demon for another? Today, we find out!

In the blue corner, we have Cuphead from the game of the same name, and in the red corner, we have Skitzo from C0MICK.

With all this being said, let the debate begin.

Living Cup: 7 (HeadlessKramerGeoff777, Sans2345, Redacted Flinn, TheTemEmpire, Niccokirby, Christian Higdon, TheQuirkyBoy)

Sun Bear: 0

Inconclusive: 0

That animation wasn't great, but it was interesting.

Cup: Teleportation, Gliding, Energy Projection by snapping his fingers (It has several variations. One that is shot like a boomerang, another that chases the opponent, one that is a series of streams of short range, and the normal shot), Homing Attack, Invulnerability, Fire Manipulation, Can shoot a bubble, Can summon a ghost version of himself, Water Manipulation via his special move

Skit: Weapon Mastery, Body Control (Can twists its head 360 degrees, produce tendrils, open his jaw unnaturally wide, and take off the top of his head), Enhanced Senses, Teleportation, Shapeshifting, Elemental Intangibility, Stealth Mastery, Absorption, Elasticity, Transmutation (Turned a hat into a knife), Toon Force, Hammerspace, Reality Corruption, Berserk Mode, Hellfire Manipulation, Weapon Creation, Resistance to Heat Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Hellfire Manipulation, possibly Longevity

Now, see, that's why I went with Cuphead. Unlike most other characters, Cuphead has plenty of ranged options that would keep Skitzo at a distance. So, you can't just say "Absorption, gg," without saying how he gets around Cuphead's multitude of ranged attacks, as well as his Supers, with his Invincibility Super being especially difficult for Skitzo to deal with.

Plus, Skitzo can teleport, sure, but Cuphead is very familiar with teleporting characters, such as Djimmi the Great, so he'll be able to handle that as well.

Eh true. Lol forgot this thread was a thing for a while there. Don't know if Skit's transmutation would work on Cup's attacks and such. Still if he starts getting hurt idk why he wouldn't just teleport behind Cuphead and absorb. Or just use his own ranged attacks like summoning pitchforks from under him or hellfire.

Again, Cuphead is extremely familiar with teleporting characters, as well as characters that try to get the jump on him from behind or below, so Skitzo would have trouble cornering him with his Invincibility Super and the Smoke Bomb, which allows him to disappear whenever he dashes.

After checking it out, not really. Cuphead's best Early Game feat comes from breaking Goopy Le Grande's 3rd form, whereas Skitzo's best feat comes from breaking down a door. If I assume both performed Violent Fragmentation for both their feats, then Skitzo would have about a 4.7X advantage over Cuphead in terms of AP. A bit more than I originally thought, but still within range. However, if Cuphead only did Fragmentation for his feat, then yeah, it'd be an AP stomp.

I don't know it's super weird because I beat Goopy and I don't remember him shattering at all but I could be wrong.

Quick question, do you think his "Reality Corruption" power would do anything to Cuphead?

Even if it doesn't, Skitty has ways to match Cupheads ranged attacks, and can one-shot him if Cuphead is dumb enough to get too close.

I vote Skitzo with mid difficulty...

What are his ways to match Cuphead's ranged attacks? Also it's not actually oneshot territory to my knowledge. Cuphead also wouldn't be dumb enough to get close. He sorta spends his time shooting constantly.

Cuphead has dealt with teleportation, has he not? I'm sure he could easily adapt to Skitzo teleporting around.

And Cuphead would immediately get away from Skitz? Cuphead has ways to set up a gap don't think he doesn't.

Also if he can deal with teleporting he doesn't have to deal with the absorption.
