Scorpion Vs Wolf (Sekiro): Ninja vs Shinobi

2 new games. 2 ninja guys from Asia. Does Scorpion have what it takes to get through Wolf's immortality? Can Wolf put a large enough dent with his Mortal Blade to kill Scorpion? Lets see.

Scorpions 7-B key is used, while Wolf has his Low 7-B Key. Speed unequalized.

Wolf - 5 (Ovens, Steve, Nicco, Hellbeast, Bambu)

Scorpion - 3 (Dante, Kredory, Astral)

Incon - 7 (KnightofSunlight, Milly, stillwinston, Goji, Ecstasy, Schnee Zack)

Wolf has faster speed than Scorpion actually. Scorpion is only Massively Hypersonic, while Wolf is +. They both have + Reaction speed though. Also, Scorpion has enhanced senses, so I don't think Wolf could sneak up on Scorpion.

@Xtasym when was that made a rule?

But if you're doing this for fun then go ahead fam

  • It is fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup. However, matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment. An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one. In this case the match can be added.

Scorpion is HS+ movement speed with MHS+ reactions, so he's not slower than him

same reaction speed. that's it.

anyways, I took off the restriction. I didn't see that wolf also had one anyways.

It doesn't neg dura, just immortality.

I think both as 8-B should be used, they seem physically even there.

It's 3.1

Not that big

Hanzo's BFR gets countered by him just committing suicide and coming back

He only used it twice as a starting move, against Bi-Han and Taven.

IIRC he used it against Shinnok which is why we see him in the Netherrealm in MK Armageddon, but I am not sure.

Wolf has means of returning to Buddha statues which are invariably up here, not in hell. BFR won't work. In theory a fatality would be crippling but he has to weaken him to even do that, which Wolf is good enough to not do that. The speed advantage is pretty good, too, since Scorpion has the reactions but not the movement speed to match.

Wolf can outright neg immortality, so I'd vote Wolf I suppose.

It's been a while since I've debated for Scorpion.

Scorpion has more than enough AP to knock him out with a hit, as he scales above Raiden's casual storm feat. That also means he's much more durable since he has taken multiple hits from these guys. Plus BFR is the least of Wolf's problems anyways.

Movement speed is literally useless in this fight, Scorpion already has quick trigger teleportation to match his running speed and is above most characters who are MHS such as his past self, Raiden and Sub-Zero. Teleportation also makes sure that anything that would harm Scorpion via contact will not connect to him, allowing for a quick escape, teleport strike or reposition.

> Knock Out

You and I both know Scorpion won't be trying to KO Wolf for a little bit.

This Scorpion is still willing to kill, but has knocked out most of his opponents. He has only attempted murder when he was told to do so or was forced to.
