Persona Content Revision Hub

Not really sure if this is the right board to post this on, but since there have been a lot of revisions for Persona lately, I thought I might as well make a thread to keep track of the progress for updating the various profiles. As revisions are brought up, discussed and concluded, I'll update this OP with all the relevant CRTs and changes that have to be implemented on the profiles. Same applies for any relevant CRTs that I've missed that people can let me know about in this thread.

Reminder: This is only a hub for linking existing CRTs, tracking profile revisions and bringing up ideas for possible future revisions or additions. This thread is NOT for discussion. This is to prevent too much unnecessary clutter.

If you intend to have a long discussion or ask questions without having to make a new thread, use the new Megaten Discussion Thread.

Question? Shouldn't several other characters scaling to End Gane Joker be upgraded as well, like the Velvet Room Attendants, Makoto and Hamuko etc.?

The attendants, maybe, via fighting Late-Game Joker, but even if they do, Makoto won't scale since he fought Elizabeth in the post-game.

That said, the only one who scales to serious Yaldy is Joker with Satanael, so even the idea that the Attendants could scale to Low 2-C is a bit iffy. Especially since Nyarly is Low 2-C, and Nyarly is equal to Philemon, who is far greater than Igor and the attendants.

yeah, nah. Only Joker w/ Satanael scales. The PT combined forces couldn't do pretty much anything to Yald who pretty much toyed with them and brought them to their knees on two seperate occassions. They pretty much just fought to break his toys, before Joker leveled up and one shotted.

Up next we should work on making Chronos a profile. He was able to trap Philemon's butterfly form in his web, face off against yu and Minato + help (including half of himself), and has some decent time magic. If you die in his pocket dimension you are erased from your own timeline along with the memory and effects you made. And before it's brought up, yes PQ is indeed canon confirmed by it's addition to a timeline outlining Yu's adventures.

Yeah I feel like Chronos needs attention as well, as do other things in PQ. Perhaps once Q2 is localized one can be made for its antagonist as well.

Rewatching the blog I renembered a minor doubt that I had:

Should we include the abilities of Ariadne and Asterius that are portrayed in the Persona 5 DLC or should we consider non-canon and forget about them.

The additions (if someone feels to lazy to go to the link) are:

Ariadne: Stadistics Amplification, Block Nuke attacks, Resists Bless and Gun attacks, Weak to Phychic attacks

Asterius: Fire Manipulation, Stadistics Amplification, Ability to create Phisical barriers, Block Curse attacks, Resist Fire and Psychic attacks and Weak to Ice attacks

Debate canonicity here, please. The last thing we need is multiple discussions based on different CRTs cluttering up the thread.

But all the Attendants save Theodore in original versions of the games (Base P3, P4, P5) Are only fightable in NG+ not late game. Updated versions of the games like P3P let you fight them Late Game. The only honestly iffy Scaling is Makoto/Hamuko fighting Margaret and not just Elizabeth and/or Theodore.

You fight the twins in Persona 5 before you get Satanael though and before they fuse to become Lavenza

Yeah in NG+. Just like in the original P3 when you fight Elizabeth in January in NG+ and Margaret in NG+ in P4. The only Protag to actually fight the Attendants in "Late Game" without NG+ is Hamuko and Makoto in P3P.

EDIT: I think I'm being misinterpreted. I don't mean when they stomp him as ordered by Yaldy when he's posing as Igor. I mean the actual "fight" between them in Momentos. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

@Hst

The Twins scale to Late-game Joker by virtue of kicking his ass. Lavenza should be superior to the Twins, and the rest of the Attendants scale to Lavenza. If the protagonist is able to fight their attendant before NG+, then it's possible to scale them.

In P3P's case, since the fight is tied to a gameplay element, it should be fine to scale. Social Stats and Social Links/Confidants are also gameplay elements and we still assume them to be maxed by default.

P5DSN reveals that Haru mysteriously breaks every computer she touches. Not even the repair technicians can figure out why, either. Technological Manipulation?

@Solacis

Then Haumko/Makoto and Nyx would scale from Elizabeth/Theodore respectively. They fight Margaret as well in P3P but I'm iffy on that seeing as how your whole team is capable of fighting Margaret, as opposed to a 1v1.

That's more of a gag thing if anything. I mean if her opponent is a computer then...well...**** them, but yeah, more or less just Haru being...well...Haru.

Hello to everyone,

I'm going to make a page for Hi-No-Kagutsuchi and since we already have Sho and Labrys. Do you think it will be possible to open a new sub-category (Persona Arena Characters) in the Persona section?. At this moment the P5 Arena it's only a rumor but who knows, maybe it will be useful in the near future.

The current P3 scaling gets a bit messy - while most low tier characters scale to Erebus_(Persona_3) for "destroying a mountain", the size of the mountain is never mentioned or calculated, as well as its degree of desteuction. Can anyone help? Thanks.

It's a statement, but refers to multiple mountains at once. Destroying more than one mountain is solid mountain-level, and this was with Erebus already in a weakened state.

But having no solid figures is still sad. And it encourages no limit waNks or downplays depending on the character scaled to it.

By our site rules, if the said monster has no solid figures for a feat, one is baseline. Worse still, we cannot determine which baseline since small city level energies are sufficient to destroy a small mountain while it takes a much higher energy (say isnald level energy) to destroy a big mountain range.

Weakened Erebus statement refers to multiple mountains worth of destructive capacity. Destroying even two mountains of average size is solidly within 7-A. SEES scales to full power Erebus, who is notably stronger than his weakened form.

SEES >or= Erebus >> Weakened Erebus > Baseline 7-A.

Would this help providing anything useful for measuring the prowess of anyone?

Question why don't all the phantom theives get Low Regenerationn?

the mask they tear off expressly injures them as seen with Ryuji and somewhat with Yusuke which they immedeatly heal from.

Please help if this calculatio makes any difference.

Speed isn't what measures quality of Regenerationn. It's what makes it combat-applicable or otherwise.

Quality is defined by how much damage the characters can regenerate from. Granted, regenerating from wounds from the mask tearing should probably qualify for Mid-Low instead of just Low. An argument could also be made that the PTs recovering from getting erased from existence would qualify for Mid-Godly, too.

That calc is making a lot of assumptions. For one, you assume that it's just one mountain when the statement refers to multiple. For another, there's no reason to use those specific mountains as reference considering the context of the statement. Elizabeth makes the mountains-busting statement while slamming Erebus onto the surface of the Moon by its pinky finger. Elizabeth also has no reason to use the area around Tatsumi Port Island as a reference point for mountain sizes because she's not talking to anyone but herself, who definitely knows about more mountains than just those.

Then what about the displayed AP of Mitsuru's OHKO move and the durability feat of P 3 main cast surviving the laser that obliterate the entire skyscraper (Any calculation link to the latter)?

Doesn't matter because they all scale to far higher feats. All endgame P3 cast members are At least 7-A, and they are presumably stronger in Arena.

EDIT: It would be different if we rated Tartarus' durability, but that's a mess I want no part in.

But if the "mountain tearing" statement has no value to yield for the P3 main cast to scale to then what is the 7-A feat to scale to? It just does not sound okay to forcibly say they are baseline 7-A when fragmenting a mountain is not necessarily 7-A.

What is the Tartarus' durability and why is that so hard to decipher? Maybe I find a way to go. (The messy crystal formation feat by Mitsuru has been cracked by me so yeah see if I can help.)

And I wonder if any EoS P3 main cast scale to Nyx which is the strongest low 2-C in the Persona verse - sure this is a high end but I believe few can be comparable to that.
