New polls suggestions thread

Hello.

The current front page poll has been up for about a month now.

I wonder if we should let it remain for another month, or replace it with some other question.

Below are some suggestions that I came up with. Some of them are still on the draft stage, and need to be improved.

Feel free to help out with new suggestions and improvements yourselves. However, take note that they have to be a mixture of interesting and uncontroversial.

I like the intelligence one. That's something a lot of people don't really end up taking into consideration when asking who's better at what?

I like the intelligence one too.

I like the Intelligence one too, since intelligence isn't something strictly quantifiable and as such you can't just get one single answer off the profiles. The "how did you enjoy" stuff seems good too.

In that case, I like the intelligence one since it gets you thinking (ironic), and I like the 'which ability you like most' as well (Though I would have preferred power nullification myself)

We should change it in exactly PI days.

I think we should be ready for a new poll right about now, honestly.

I don't think that Sans is sufficiently recogniseable to the average visitor to compete with the other entries.

Okay. It is probably better to start with more generally recogniseable polls though.

Why not also split the intelligence poll? We can add AI's too and typical 'super geniuses' like Rick Sanchez, Professor Farnsworth etc. I think it would be unique.

I only added characters that are clearly supergeniuses able to create inventions that warp reality as they wish to the poll.

Talking about superheroes is a pretty logical step after the Anime/Manga thing. But, I think everyone agrees the intelligence poll should be listed sometime soon due to its uniquity.

We can post the intelligence poll after the superhero one.

For genre, what about horror?

Yeah on second thought Ant makes a good point, it would make more sense to have the superhero poll as a follow up.

Well, the current poll is about favourite anime/manga characters, not the shows themselves,

I'm with Cal. They basically go hand to hand when it comes to animation.

Anime tends to be more popular in terms of Vs. Debating though.

Well, the point is that we didn't ask about the shows themselves, but about the characters. You can check the front page yourselves.

How about this order?

1) Favourite comicbook characters.

2) Most intelligent character.

3) Favourite cartoon.
