It has been a long time since I made an entry, I know, I know, but now I think it's my time to strike! The darkness that overtakes our world has been in effect for decades now. I've been locked in this bunker ever since the first arrival, but now...I'm going to get my way out! While going out there I was able to acquire a bit of DNA from the fallen out there, and with a bit of genetic splicing I have made the perfect soldiers for reclaiming our world! Well...perfect is a little bit of an exaggeration. They're hardly perfect, but they're certainly stronger than this withering old man. Haha!
I was unable to capture many of the stronger souls available to me, but I was able to catch a few. They might be weak right now, but with their current set of powers, I have no doubt that they'll pull through. I've even injected a bit into myself to give myself an extra edge. Hehe. Either way, today is the day I release the subjects. I don't know what will happen next, but this has been Dr. Albert Valentine, the last hope for humanity...signing off.

Now, when he says that you're weak, this isn't just description or things to fluff up the lore. You are weak. Some of you likely barely reach 9-C, but you're alive and you're ready to fight.
The world outside is infected with a darkness. A darkness that takes the form of any characters that have ever existed. They will be stronger than you, and you'll have to fight them, but luckily, with overwhelming numbers you should be able to fight back. There is little hope for you, and odds of survive at slim, but there's still some chance of success, and by now even the most suicidal missions seem rational
Essence from the fallen exists out there that is yours for the taking! Not all will be salvageable, however, and some will be too powerful for your minuscule bodies to handle, so only specific creatures and entities can be incorporated into your DNA, but it's better than nothing. To survive, you must be crafty, think outside the box, and be vigilant. There are terrifying creatures out there, and some will not hesitate to kill you on sight. Good luck out there, and go save the world.
So let's talk about this. Basically, and I'm gonna say something absolutely dreadful,you start off only 9-C! You can start off lower in exchange for somewhat better hax but other than that you're 9-C. I'll check your characters to make sure they're up to a bit of a standard.
And while we're at it, this is not some roleplay where you can jump straight into battle or do some stupid things. There will be consequences for actions done without thinking. You are extremely weak and are unable to take down a decent chunk of characters. To win, act cautiously and use whatever you can to your advantage.
There will be chances to improve your tier later, but there won't even be huge jump ups in tier. The most you'll usually get is one or two jumps in tier per new essence, and they don't come easily. You choose wisely, either sacrificing AP for hax (admittedly most likely restricted hax) or going full AP for that wonderful tanky build.
