Shrek VS James P. Sullivan

Hmm... Interesting thread. I'm gonna have to go with Shrek here. I mean while the mechanical arm Sully pulled off likely weighed as much as a car judging by Sully's size and the size of the arm, and even with one advantage over Shrek, Shrek outclasses Sully in everything else.

I may give this to Sulley. He's most certainly smarter and isn't as foolish as Shrek. Sulley as well tends to be tactical in certain situations and strategized to solve them.

This is a tricky one. I'd pay to see this battle.

But Shrek has the advantage so I'm going to say Ogrelord FRA.

Shrek is much more experienced in combat, being able to defeat a team of trained armored knights and whatnot, as well as being more predisposed to violence, and I'm pretty sure he has the AP advantage. He's also stronger

Voting for Shrek is love, Shrek is life

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sully is baseline, no? That means that Shrek has an AP advantage of 106x.
I mean pulling a safe door his size (granted its really pipes forming a secret door, but still), one that's locked, takes more strength than baseline. Heard of shear strength?

Heard of it, ja. Alright, for the sake of debate, let's assume that they are roughly equal in AP, Shrek is slightly superior.

What happens if Sully uses his scare tactics on Shrek? Sully has scared other monsters, most of whom are professional scarers. Shrek ain't got nothing on that. I vote Sully through scare tactics and actual tactical fighting

Shrek dealt with a dragon. Pretty sure the scare factor of that dragon is more or less comparable to your typical fairy tale dragon (in which only brave knights are willing to handle). That's not to mention its much larger than Sulley, who's more or less a horned bear/wildcat crossbreed.

Shrek has seen far worse monsters than Sully. If Sully tried to scare him, then Shrek would just laugh in front of his face

Shrek is a professional scarer, too. He terrified an entire angry mob that was armed with weapons

In theory. But Sully can scare other monsters, who all casually see things that should be just as scary as whatever Shrek faces.

If we're going by sheer size=scare, then there are those building-sized monsters. And Sully scares those that put up with Randell, crab dude, and that horrifying slug lady on a day to day basis.

I feel like he'd be able to scare Shrek

Shrek literally lives in a fantasy world where there are sapient pigs, mice, wooden puppets and flippin' gingerbread men. Shrek is not going to be terrified by Sully. Surprised, maybe, but not terrified.

Plus, he barely batted an eye when a dragon was going to eat him or burn him alive and reacted accordingly. In two different movies under two different scenarios.

You mean Mr. Waternoose and Roz? Also, isn't Roz just an accountant/mole for the CDA, and have nothing to do with the scare floor?

If the last vote for Shrek was made more than 24hours ago then you can add it. If not, wait until then.
