Note: For all those who would argue that Lightning takes this due to her time hax, keep in mind that Jiren has already proven himself against time hax and shown he can break out of it. And that was when he was only using just a fraction of his true power. If he's in Limit Breaker mode, he'd very arguably be able to shrug off time hax with ease.
 
What about her type 4?

Edit: I search her history, and I think her type 4 is the old type 4, not the new one.

4: Immortality via godhood, or protection from a deity: A character that was either granted immortality by a god, or is immortal because of its hierarchical position due to godhood, so that its divine immortality is less a power, and more treated as a consequence of its state of being as a deity.

Time slow wouldn't work.

But she has things like poison/life drain, curses, blinding effects. I can't recall whether or not she has paralysis and statistics amplification/reduction.

I don't think it's anywhere near a stomp since her main hax is time manipulation. But she has a much wider variety of skills to pull from.

Jiren also has the glare. So I think it evens out.

Goku in 3rd UI and MUI was still actively dodging the Glare and had to block it if they couldn't dodge rather than straight tanking it so it at least does something.

Something to someone of a level of which Lightning is nowhere near high enough to compare.
 
Why do I remember Lightning losing to Beerus and winning against Goku?
 
Wow, manga Jiren has hax. Never noticed it before.
 
That's cause no weapon or things classified as weapons are not allowed.

And Jiren's was fighting to knock out even though that would have been easier with his sealing tech.
 
Wow, that's really neat. Manga Jiren with hax.

If Jiren can oneshot then he has a really good chance here. I'd say he takes it more times than not since his glare is a legitimate attack.
 
A few things...


1) Lightning should, at very least, be low multiversal by virtue of being the Knight of Etro, then being made into borderline Etro by Bhunivelze. She lived forever in a world without time which transcended a multiverse, and she was clearly in control of it in XIII-2, and could gather souls of people who were already lost to the timeless void of death and chaos in Lightning Returns.


2) Overclock doesn't slow time in combat; it stops it. Her time hax also works against Bhunivelze, a being which transcends time via existing before it. He wouldn't be bothered by the destruction of it and the Unseen world, and was going to create a new world with a new timeline. Lightning's time hax is stronger than anything Jiren has faced.


3) Lightning yeeted said Godly being (who would stomp Jiren) with the combination of all the souls in existence. Lightning is basically a Goddess who stomped the highest ranking one in single combat which existed outside of the constrants of the world.


I vote for Lightning.

You can do what you want, but your vote won't be considered valid as there nothing on the profile that coincides with your reasoning for voting for Lightning.

Make a CRT and get the changes applied if you want your vote to be valid.

Besides, if she 2-C, then Jiren has no way to win, and this would be a stomp.
 
He has no way to win if you make a CRT and apply the upgrades of making her 2-C.

If you don't, then he just glares away the THOT.

Make the CRT.
 
Jiren fra. Unless Lightning gets the revision ( Which to my knowledge I remember most of these facts from the games and if they are included the whole fight is a 180 degree turn ) .... She gets stomped no matter how many times she gets back up.
