Homestuck speeds

So a while ago, Homestuck's general speed levels were reverted to Relativistic+, on the grounds of several statements of things not being able to move FTL in the verse in general. However, as I've been reading through it again, I've stumpled across several FTL feats that seemingly put these statements to rest.

1. The Psiionic (A minor character who doesn't even appear in person), is stated by a nigh-omniscient entity (Who's only blindspots are things that literally function as holes in reality) to have moved the ship of The Condesce thousands of lightyears in mere hours.

2. A species known as a Cherub is stated to be able to traverse entire star systems in seemingly short spans of time, are one AU in length, and literally mate inside black holes, which would require them to be FTL just to escape it.

3. As shown here, the timeframe for the characters John and Jade crossing the length of one yard was 3 nanoseconds. Hussie thought that was just below lightspeed, but it's actually just barely above it.

4. As seen in Cascade, the ultimate attack of the main villain at the time (Jack Noir) spread through an infinite multiverse in the span of seconds.

5. Several times in the series (At least 4), we see characters travel between planets in very short periods of time, two characters even fighting each other with them.

Any thoughts?

In addition, Scratch (said nigh-omniscient entity) does not lie. He never has lied.

Hussie doesn't know or care enough about Lightspeed consistency for it to really be a factor, anymore.

Feats > statements.

Many feats contradict statements, so we take the feats unless they're super inconsistent, which they aren't.

The feats say that they are casually FTL
 
Oops, didn't realize what you were saying, exactly. But yeah. More evidence, then, if that's true.
 
the Ψiioniic could use psychic powers to make the Battleship Condescension travel faster than light. Andrew Hussie seems to be unaffected by the speed of light either, as he can notice a clock's nanoseconds ticking and yet move around freely. a ship moving near lightspeed would cover a distance of one yard (as measured from the perspective of an external observer) iless than three nanoseconds in its own frame of reference, not more (and certainly not three years.

Yeah it seems Hussie likely doesn't care about that rule anymore and even if he does there is too much stuff that goes against it. I support this revision.
 
Well, I think we have enough opinions on the batter (Including a Bureaucrat), so unless some serious disagreement comes up, I think the changes can be implemented.
 
Yep, support. There's plenty of FTL going around, in fact it was rather common on Alternia IIRC. I'm more confused on why they were reverted in the first place, as many of the characters (Jack, Jade, etc) have clearly traversed interplanetary distances in absurdly short periods of time.
 
Because Hussie has no idea how relativity works, and that apparently showed nobody could move FTL, even though in his previous comic, everyone and their mother could react at FTL speeds.
 
Bumping this because I found a potential buff for most of the Top-Tiers.

As shown by this calc, the radius of the "Green Sun" is either 11.08 lightyears or 534 billion lightyears.

As shown near the end of Cascade (Link in the OP), Rose and Dave emerge from its core in a minute at most, placing a low-end at 5,823,648c and a high-end at 280,670,400,000,000,000c (Pretty sure the high-end is more likely). This'd pretty much scale to anyone who is currently FTL+ aside from regular God-Tier Joh, God-Tier Vriska, Jackspers, Grimdark Rose and Bro.

Thoughts?
 
@Ever everything seems fine. Still can't believe a verse claiming that nothing with mass can achieve SoL has characters with a high end in the hundreds of quadrillions c xD

that statement was even called stupid and inaccurate in the webcomic.....
 
@EA yeah but the fact that that statement was there in the first place is pretty funny. Even if it was considered stupid in verse just the irony of it.

I think Hussie eventually just realized he couldn't rectify it and stopped giving a shit. Even in his previous comic, which is supposed to share the same laws of physics, characters can escape the pull of a black hole with mass 10^100x that of the universe. lol

Oh, lol. I should say that the high-end result was if the Green Sun was a black hole, and even if it was that's just the distance one would have to be near the thing in order to get sucked in provided you were at sub-light speeds. So the high-end isn't the size of the actual object, and definitely not the size of the actual object during Cascade
