You speak as someone who doesn't know either TES nor 40K. Fitting.
 
From what I've heard, TES crusader doesn't go into Erasure mode voluntarily or right off the bat, so I guess emperor due to actually using his powers against people not names Horus. Doesn't even need his eradure.


Though seriously enough of the passive mindhax.
 
Oh, he definitely CAN win, it's just that the emperor can do literally anything and win, while Pelinal needs to get angry and then wins instantly.
 
No that's not what Pelinal has to do. Pelinal's time erasing normal attacks would definitely give the Emperor at least trouble, and as a god Pelinal would have perception enough to know that Big E is a threat, which combined with his non-linear perception of time would give him more than enough motivation to use the Madness.

Also in regards to getting angry, that's Pelinal's secret.

He's always angry.

After talking with Ultima about it we came to the conclusion that Pelinal can voluntarily tap into the Madness as long as he's angry.

... And this is the guy who runs around screaming in the battlefield and biting the neck-veins of his enemies to drink their blood while singing praises to a guy who isn't even born yet.

So yeah, Pelinal getting angry is really easy.

It's wrong by the way. I'm not even sold on regular Big E being Acausal. It's more like he just perceives time non-linearly and knows the future.

Well as long as Pelinal can go pms madness mode voluntarily he should probably take this(as long as he's angry anyway).
 
Pelinal's a weird character. If you can kill him before he activates his madness, he's DED, and he resists very little hax. But the second he enters madness 99% of fiction dies.

To be fair, The Emperor of Mankind got these: Precognition/Clairvoyance (He constantly receives projections, visions and prophetic dreams from countless possible futures).

So, Emporor would likely know to kill Pelinal before his Madness Manipulation
