Elder Scrolls Spam + RWBY Spam, best way to get matches on the new profiles, kek.

Speed is equal. This is Vol 4-5 Weiss with Summons restricted. Battle takes place in the central plaza of the College of Winterhold, each fighter stands on either end of the platform, let's say 10 meters away.

was gonna say that J'zargo had an AP advantage until i actually read the OP

i don't know what Weiss does in character, but i'm pretty sure J'zargo opens with paralysis, after which he just shoots an ice spike into her head
 
Her aura is about to be upgraded to 8-B for this key when Dargoo decides to make the thread about it
 
that shouldn't change much when she literally can't do anything

i'm also pretty sure his scrolls are quite a bit stronger than his normal spells, so if he finds that he can;t hurt her with his normal spells, he'll just pop one of them out

that's kinda irrelevant when the attacks that J'zargo pulls are pretty strong and do heavy damage to the aura on it's own, but he has scrolls that are even stronger that basically one-shot

Also Weiss can still move by using glyphs as she can summon them with a thought
 
at least High 8-C should be relatively comparable to High 8-C+, as J'zargo is above giants which have pretty good High 8-C feats iirc

pretty sure that means nothing when, even though it takes longer than a though to use, he can paralyze and just go from there
 
Aren't those just platforms? Why would that make her move? Does she create inclines or something?

anyways, the fight basically goes

How does this paralysis work? Does it have to travel? Does it have a time limit?
 
Weiss can freeze him 8 different ways all from different ranges all with different methods of use. she can make a bunch of homing ranged attacks, freeze him with a sword strike, freeze him by blocking his attack, make a giant laser that freezes on contact, make a small energy pulse that freezes on contact, freeze the area around herself by striking the ground, freeze the area around herself while also healing herself, make an ice glyph under him to freeze him, etc.

She can also put him in restraining glyphs so he cant move even if he does manage to paralyze her.

She uses a glyph to instantly change her momentum to avoid the pillar

Gravity glyphs break her fall
 
does she immediately do all of these things before cat man paralyzes and shoot a lightning bolt or something like that?
 
How exactly does his paralysis work?

She can still avoid his attacks to an extent by using glyphs to move around as well as creating glyph barriers, and his lightning isnt strong enough to immediately break her aura
 
Paralysis isn't a projectile, it's reality saying "you can't move"

fair, but considering the fact that he's fairly far into High 8-C, if not 8-B (because those feats on the Giant's page seem way higher than just High 8-C but that's just me), the fact that he can fire a bolt and paralysis at the same time on top of being able to either spam those same bolts or have a constant stream of comparable lightning get shot at Weiss, i'd say it breaks the aura pretty quickly
 
Her aura can take 8-B damage without breaking

Also he's not even High 8-C+ on his profile so you'd need a crt to argue that he's almost 8-B
 
you said it was High 8-C+ earlier

either way, a literally constant stream of high-end High 8-C attacks should break it rather quickly

EDIT: it's more an issue that i don't think stuff like knocking someone so high that they reach low-lying clouds is calcable, so Giants end up lower than it seems like they should be

It would, but he'd not going to be landing a constant stream of them given she can still use glyphs to move and create barriers, as well as reflect his attacks
 
Punching someone into the clouds is wall level at best, hell punching someone over the horizon is only Wall level
 
i don't remember you saying that, but meh

i doubt that glyphs can reflect reality saying "there is lightning here", and i can see her having difficulties moving around using nothing but glyphs while also being attacked

Okay im gonna need to see scans of that. Moving around using nothing but Glyphs while also being attacked is basically how she moves around in all of her fights

i find that very hard to believe, although i guess it depends on what clouds you're talking about and how far the horizon is

i mean that's different from suddenly being completely unable to move
 
Didn't you say before aura is sorta like a hp bar and as such weaker attacks over time can whittle it down?

You kinda can't shoot ice or swing a sword if your body can't move, floating platforms or not.
 
@Wok It is, but it also means they can take a few hits from stronger attacks without being oneshot

Exactly, she cant move, but she can still use glyphs to protect herself and move around
 
actually, i'm pretty sure magic in TES can be cast at will and paralyzed people can't cast it

although it;s entirely possible that that's game mechanics
 
So can't he just spam paralysis and just shoot her until she dies? Glyphs only would prolong the inevitable.
