This should be relatively interesting, as Monica exploding the heck out of stuff gives Pride more shadows to work with, and Alchemy isn't equalized to magic or biological abilities so Monica's resistances aren't really a big factor here.

Monica is 50 kT via Cruise Missile, Pride is > 28 kilotons via scaling above Kimblee w/the Philosopher's Stone.

Speed is =, this is Base Monica and The Showstopper is restricted. Battle takes place in the White House, except it's from the hit TV series Cory in the House.

Pride can absorb her, I mean. Monica doesn't resist soulhax. Pride also has better regen.

Pride constantly surrounds himself with his shadows and uses them to block attacks, and they have higher dura than Monica's attacks.
 
Pride isn't 90 Kilotons, he's only 28 kilotons. The calculation is using the low-end, if they were 90 kilotons, they'd have the +.
 
Pride doesn't constantly cover himself in Shadows, he uses the offensively. They're also not large enough to cover a massive AoE that explodes out of nowhere that he can't see coming

Also Absorbtion? He can't do that unless it's a philosophers stone.

And if you're thinking of him absorbing Edward as an example, Monica makes herself and explode and she's fine
 
Pride doesn't absorb in character, it's not something he's ever done in battle. He ate Glunttony because he needed more power, and he ate Kimblee because he felt like it.

He absorbs the scientist because they ran out of time.

He won't even think about absorbing unless he's about to die, or has no choice.
 
I strongly doubt Pride wouldn't sheild himself if he saw something being launched at him, or an explosion/laser approaching, which he'd be able to react to with speed equal.

@Rusty I'm pretty sure Monica carpet-bombing his general area would shock him into trying to absorb her, which doesn't seem that unordinary since he did it for ***** and giggles on Kimblee.
