Although Vecna is more versatile the only abilities of Vecna I see working are conceptual manipulation and probability manipulation. Although even that may not work due to Acausality. Magnus should have type 5 acausality; the concept of causality doesn't apply to the warp. Vecna does have that regen though. How good is his resistance to mind destruction?

Simply the warps nature gives them type 5. They freely live in it while it's unbound by the concept of causality.
Best make a CRT for it then.

Currently, it's not on his profile, so it's not applicable.

Ok, I vote Magnus due to Law Manipulation, Chaos, Madness and Mind Manipulation and Acausality Type 5. He can also summon Daemons such as the Lesser Daemons of Tzeentch and maybe even Greater Daemons. Even the Lesser Daemons of Tzeentch have insane Fate Manipulation. He can attack on a conceptual level if need be.

I think I'll go with inconclusive, actually

>Mind

Resistance

>Law

Vecna gives the natural laws the middle finger, wouldn't work

>Concept

Something even demon lords have?

alright his law manipulation only works in deamon worlds, chaos manipulation is not useful since it works by turning worlds into chaos

>Resistance

How good is his resistance

>Law

These aren't natural laws. Even mere cults of Tzeentch can change the laws of the material universe into laws they can control with chaos powers

I named concept just so he can go into a metaphysical fight with Vecna if need be.

No one has answered whether Vecna can even affect Magnus with the Acausality he has.

What do you mean it's stated he can warp material universes into worlds with laws of chaos.

Just saying, Vecna does have resistance to Law Manipulation, as even fodder mages in the verse have Law Manip which they lolnope

for those wondering about magnus law manipulation,it comes from this

A well-established cult has the potential to tip an entire world into Chaos in a very literal sense. Their greatest works of sorcery can open the gates of hell itself and unleash the daemonic legions of the Ruinous Powers. As the mutating power of Chaos saturates the world it becomes a realm not entirely of the material universe and not entirely of the warp: a Daemon World where the laws of nature and reason have been completely usurped by the whims of the Chaos Powers." ― Black Crusade: Core Rulebook

I mean, Demon Lords can control the laws in their own realms, and gods have fought demon lords in their own realms. Vecna hasn't, but he should be comparable.

I do see it in one of his keys which is his Greater God key. He doesn't have it in his lesser god key.

Even Wizards have law manipulation.

Alright, Vecna resists Law Manipulation. But again acausality hasn't been addressed. Also is Vecna reliant on a 2-A concept? What does that mean exactly? Does it govern over a 2-A Multiverse?

Can't people in the warp just sorta break reality by thinking they can do insane shit, ergo they can? I seem to recall that. Anyhow, this seems Incon for now tbh. And, Emperor, yes, all D&D settings are (at least) 2-A Multiverses, with the biggest of them being High 1-B Multiverses god dammit Mystara

Yeah, people in the Warp can create and destroy universes and realities by thinking. Magnus doesn't have 2-A range on his profile to take out Vecna's type 8 and Mid Godly.

I mean

It's true Vecna has 2-A range, and Vecna has weird type 8 reliant on both his concept and people worshipping him, AND Mid-Godly

But how would Magnus react to mindhax/deathhax (Vecna's main things are "I think at you" and "just die")? His mindhax upscales from baseline multiverse worth.
