Dio Brando
DioBrando JJBAEoH-render
Powers and Stats

Tier: 8-C

Name:
Dio Brando

Origin: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Part I: Phantom Blood)

Gender:
Male

Age: 20

Classification: Vampire, Stand User

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Flight, Absorption via Vampirism (Sucks blood through his hands even though he has fangs), Body Control (Is able to control his veins, hair, and shoot beams of vampiric essence out of his eyes), Immortality (Types 1, 2 and 3), Regenerationn (High-Mid; his Regenerationn was faster than the fire burning his whole body, Scaled from Straizo whose regen was able to put him back from being blown apart, Vampirism also speeds up the Regenerationn), Water Manipulation (Can shoot pressurized jets of water from his eyes), Can walk on walls/ceilings, Can turn others into zombies (Possibly also vampires as his Stardust Crusaders self can do that), Mind Control (Mind Controlled Poco, also Jack the Ripper in the anime only), Ice Manipulation (Can freeze others by vaporizing the liquid in his body)

Attack Potency: Building level+ (Vastly superior to the likes of his subordinates such as Tarkus, who can split hills with his physical attacks), can negate durability with Vaporization Freezing

Speed: Supersonic with Hypersonic attack speeds and reactions (Kept up with Jonatha, who was able to react to his eye beams, and William Anthonio Zeppeli; the properties of his Space Ripper Stingy Eyes being high-pressure liquid jets mean they must move at Mach 5 speeds at least.)

Lifting Strength: Class 50 (He casually lifted a steamroller)

Striking Strength: Building Class+

Durability:
Building level+ (Can exchange blows with Jonathan after he performed the Deep Pass Overdrive). Regenerationn makes him difficult to kill.

Stamina: Vastly Superhuman (Can continue fighting even if he is heavily wounded and go at least a century without nourishment [blood])

Range: Extended melee range normally, much further with Space Ripper Stingy Eyes

Standard Equipment: None notable

Intelligence: Very devious, good at setting up traps and plans, incredibly charismatic and an expert on getting others to follow him and commanding them, and ruthless in combat and always tries to use his abilities to the best of their strength, as well as being very thorough

Weaknesses: He will disintegrate in sunlight, and Hamon circumvents his Regenerationn. Overconfident

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Vampirism: Gained from the Stone Mask, Dio obtains supernatural and superhuman abilities. His senses and physical attributes are strengthened heavily. He is capable of regenerating almost any wound and possesses incredible control over his and others' bodies.
    • Evil Implants: Dio can create parasites that are implanted into his victims' brains. When taken out, they grow tentacles in an attempt to kill the host and the person who takes it out.
    • Space Ripper Stingy Eyes: Dio fires pressurized jets of waters from his eye sockets, which contain his vampiric essence. It easily pierces through human flesh and something as hard as stone.
    • Vaporizing Freezing: By lowering the temperature of his own body drastically, Dio can freeze organic tissue by touching it. This can range from simple limbs to an entire human body. It is noted to stop blood form flowing within the body, therefore acting as a counter to Hamon.
Ken
Post Dragon
Powers and Stats

Tier: At least 8-C

Name:
Ken Kaneki, Haise Sasaki

Origin: Tokyo Ghoul

Gender: Male

Age: 28-29 (end of the series, 30 as Haise)

Classification: Artificial One-Eyed Ghoul

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Regenerationn Negation (Kagune secretions act as poisons that inhibit Regenerationn), Statistics Amplification (Ghouls grow stronger by activating their Kagunes. Can increase his strength beyond that with his Kakuja), Regenerationn (Low-Mid in combat, can easily regenerate from being impaled through the torso repeatedly. Mid over time, regenerated after Arima stabbed him through the head twice. As a one-eyed ghoul created from Rize who was noted for her abnormally powerful Regenerationn, he may be comparable to Eto, who was able to regenerate her head from the stump), Body Control (Can produce a Kagune, several tendril-like limbs to attack foes), Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant, Reactive Power Level (as One-Eyed Ghouls regenerate from injuries, they increase RC Cell pathways through their bodies, growing stronger as a result), limited Power Mimicry (capable of "reading" his opponents and learning to predict and mimic their techniques), Resistance to Pain (unfazed by twisting his leg so much that the bone broke and the flesh tore, fought while ignoring a centipede in his ear, considered the sensation of being hacked apart "calming"), Expert Swordsma, can shape his Kagune into mouths capable of speaking and eating foes, Resistance to Electricity Manipulation (blocked an electric attack from Narukami with his Kagune without being electrocuted), Creation (created a sword from his Kagune to battle Furuta with), Shapeshifting (transformed his arm from a kagune claw to a normal arm, changed the shape of his Kagune), Resistance to Poison and Disease (despite absorbing far more ROS toxin than Saiko, who was infected with ROS by it, Kaneki was near completely unaffected)

Attack Potency: At least Building level (Defeated Furuta while the latter was using his Kakuja, without using his own. Destroyed many of the Dragon's defense mechanisms)

Speed: Subsonic+

Lifting Strength:
Class 5

Striking Strength:
At least Building Class

Durability:
At least Building level (took numerous hits from Furuta and Dragon's defense mechanisms and survived)

Stamina: Extremely high. Despite being imprisoned, tortured and starved for days on end by Jaso, upon accepting his ghoul nature, he was able to break free instantly and defeat Jason despite having a centipede in his ear the whole time. Can fight with broken bones and extreme wounds such as lost limbs and impalements.

Range: Extended melee range with his Quinque, At least a dozen meters with his Kagune

Standard Equipment: His Kagune, His Quinque, Yukimura 1/3

Intelligence: Extremely high. Even before becoming a ghoul, Kaneki was a highly intelligent young man. After being tortured by Yamori, Kaneki embraced his Ghoul instincts, becoming a vicious fighter who can effortlessly tear apart entire ranks of Investigators and casually take down two S-Rank Ghouls, Yamori and Ayato, in quick succession, earning a SS-Rank designation for his acts. His bookish nature along with his tendency to be quick learner serve him well, picking up advanced martial arts in weeks by studying several books and later becoming an expert in using his Kagune and Quinque simultaneously under Arima's tutelage. He is capable of "reading" his opponents, carefully watching them in order to predict their motions and mimic their techniques. He soon becomes one of the most skilled fighters in the series, disarming Arima even after he began using a SSS-Rank Quinque made from Yoshimura's Kagune and defeating Eto in single combat. In his Dragon form, however, he doesn't seem to act consciously and attacks whatever is in his sight.

Weaknesses: Possibly damage to his brain.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Rinkaku Kagune:
As a Ghoul, Kaneki has a special organ made of RC Cells called a Kagune, which he can manifest by allowing it to burst from his lower back in the form of tentacles that he can control at will. They're extremely swift and have high striking power, but are relatively brittle compared to most Kagunes, which is compensated by Kaneki's abnormal Regenerationn, even for a Ghoul. As the series goes on, he's able to shape them into various forms, such as a giant claw or a bundle of limbs, to suit his purposes and manages to control at least six of them independently of each other.

  • Kakuja: As a result of his cannibalism of other ghouls to stop himself from eating humans, Kaneki's RC cells mutated, allowing him to access a new form of Kagune called the Kakuja. The Kakuja covers Kaneki's body in an armor-like covering and drastically increases their abilities. For much of the series, Kaneki's Kakuja was incomplete, leaving him in an insane state where he would lash out at anything around him. However, after eating Eto's Kakuja, Kaneki was able to gain a complete Kakuja, and during his fight with Arima, he gained full control over it in the process, allowing him to use it and maintain his sanity. While in his Kakuja, Kaneki became able to use two more tentacles, both shaped like centipedes.
  • Post Dragon: After his true body is extracted from the Dragon Kakuja, Kaneki has undergone a further mutation, in which his entire body is implied to have become a Kagune, having gained new organs with unknown effects (though they are theorized to be what gives him his extreme resistance to the ROS toxin). In this state, his Kagune appears as several large star-shaped swords on tentacles, which Kaneki can manipulate for offensive and defensive purposes. He also appears to have gained the ability to transform his Kagune into all different types of Kagune, showing Nishiki's Bikaku Kagune, Tsukiyama's Koukaku Kagune, and even Hinami's Chimera Kagune and Touka's Ukaku Kagune during his final battle through the Dragon's interior.
In character, no prior knowledge or prep time, Post Dragon Ken, SPEED EQUALIZED. Who wins?

Dio - 0

Ken - 0

Inconclusive - 0

If he manages to hit Dio then his Regenerationn will be negated, but simply cutting won't mess with with Dio unless he manages to cut off his limbs because Dio is able to keep fighing even when he was dead cut in half. They both probably start firing at eachother, until Dio realises his regen isn't working while his opponent's is, at which point he grabs one of the blades and freezes that portion, while working to close the distance. The AP gap does not seem wide enough that he could cut of limbs or deal enough damage that it would be an issue due to his type 2 immortality. Ken could definitely successfully put him down should he focus on just the neck and do enough damage to properly cut it off, but since he lacks the intel to know to do this, he won't.

Thus, I vote Dio high dif

@Monarch If only Eren vs Ken were still fair i'd remake that, i had fun debating with you ovo

Alright

At some point in this match while smacking Dio from a distance with 20 meter long Kagunes, Kaneki realises Dio can freeze things on contact.

The kagunes are large enough that he can disperse them before the freezing spreads to him.

From this moment forward he spams ranged attacks. With danmaku.

@Monarch

Don't forget that cutting damage won't do much to stop Dio from fighting. He almost got cut in half and was still fighting mostly fine combat wise. He should still be fully capable of closing the distance unless Ken has the AP to cut off his limbs or Behead him in a hit, which he doesn't

Ken should have this unles something new is brought up fra. He could back of easily enough, and Dio would be at the very least pushed back or sloved by attacks.

Now I'm wondering if either of this can have a fair fight with Jee-Han

Kaneki is also a very smart person who has fought people who don't stop moving unless you destroy their brains, so he would very quickly start aiming for that after he realises that just cuts on Dio's arms aren't doing enough.

Also, if Kaneki swings a Kagune fast enough, sheer momentum is going to cause it to hit Dio really hard, even if he freezes it.

Closing the distance is not a problem. Kaneki is significantly more mobile than Dio is, and can easily back pedal, get to high ground, etc

Also just how large is this AP gap if you say he can't cut off his head?

My dude, blades aren't gonna do much to stop Dio from properly closing the distance
No

But wings, jumping tentacles, and demonic spiderman swinging will.

How long will that take him to realise? because he has about as long as it would take a super sonic being to cross a few dozen meters

They are equally fast...

And the moment Dio ignores blade attacks Ken will guess that he is likely a ghoul that can regen from it or something.

And being scewered does tend to slow you down.

Actually, I just realised something. What am I talking about? Beheading Dio even without his regen wouldn't put him down. He has his tendrals that he can use to put himself together with even without healing. The only reason he couldn't re attatch himself to his own torso was because his body had been filled with Hamon

This is also central park, so Dio has more than enough sources of blood and body parts to regenerate and put himself back together with

Ghouls have tendrils that pull themselves together to heal as well.

Almost being the key term here. He wasn't completely bisected.

Let's be clear, his tendrals aren't healing, its him basically pulling a Jolyne and putting himself back together without actually healing the damage, tho his regen usually takes it over from there

He had basically just his ball sack left holding him together lol. In all seriousness, it really isn't much of an issue for him. He re attatched his arm with ease, and put his body back together with about the same. there really won't be much issue

The second Ken does successfully stab him, his blade gets frozen as well. Btw, how does his poison work? because Dio doesn't have convensional blood flow so I don't think it would spread around his body

Ricsi-viragosi said:
I feel that Dio ignoring someone trying to destroy his head is extremly ooc...
I mean he got his arm clear cut off, and was cut in half so much it was a small part of his pelvis from being completely bisected. At which point he laughed it off and played with Jojo's vein

Ricsi-viragosi said:
That does not equate to charging at the enemy and going in close range right away.
I was speaking in the context of my initial comment. Read my battle senerio at the top of the page for more details

Standuser081 said:
Even if it did spread, Dio could just cut part of him that's been infected.
That's not really sustainable with the ammount of blades that would be filling him. The poison wouldn't kill him, but it would get rid of his regen, even if it did spread. Its more likely he would just freeze it

Isn't there a rule against putting a + unless there is a calc for it? I disagree with it, but if it's still there Dio still shouldn't have it.
