I wonder what a canon smash tier list will look like
God tiers: Super Sonic, Pure Hearts Mario

Top tiers: Monado III Shulk, Ness, Rosalina, Belmonts.

Mid Tiers: Mario and Kirby cast, Olimar with spaceship, Cloud, Samus at peak.

Low Tiers: Mega Man, Sonic, Fire Emblem, Zelda, Kid Icarus and Pokémon cast.

Very Low Tiers: Everything else probably.

Izzy (The Piranha Plant) is now in smash bros! And he's the first DLC character, now there is only 4 more left. The "story" spooked me a bit, and it's up to Kirby to save the world of Smash bros. Glad there's voice acting as well.

This is truly an infinity war, almost everyone getting erased! And Waluigi yet again being disrespected. This time by a Plant Monster enemy. My true main is forever The Piranha Plant. Fite me.

Like I said on the other thread, he isn't one of the 5 paid DLC characters @DaBig

I correct myself. Marth stated we needed to take out 10 MH's each to do this, not 5 as I originally thought he said.

That's still suspicious.... Because even if we assume that the MH they fought was holding back, due to it's Universal Busting Feat upon defeating a holding back MH , the one they fought was Low 2-C. Also the fact they needed to work together to defeat a holding back MH & CH .

Not saying they scale to Low 2-C as of only Ultimates ( But you could ) , but I'm saying there is a extreme likelihood they got far stronger than their Smash 4 Counterparts.

Also... Did someone ever calc the Mini-Galaxies Rosalina uses to attack with ?

@DaBig no prob, just saying it to make sure the hype keeps going on. (More possible fighters = more hype)

@2nd Is it even possible to calc them?

However, multiple Master Hands... Hmmm, starting to question if he did create the universe.

I think his Universe Busting feat is legit.... When he "dies" after being defeated. However, I still would like a opinion on the first paragraph I asked about. Because it has my gears turning.

About the Mini-Galaxy... I'm unsure. I assumed it's possible... But I don't know for sure.

I mean, if you want to look at it seriously, the dude uses several hundred Master Hands as ammo, instantly caught and destroyed the entire fighter roster and spirits roster with that Virus Groudon laser attack, and the canon of this journey seems to be that every fighter and spirit needs to team together to take Galeem down, despite the boss itself probably being defeated by only one character (similar to Tabuu requiring the entire Brawl roster to defeat him, despite a team of only a few characters being used in the actual boss fight)

Still holding out for Rex for DLC....If not him, Elma or Morag...
If you ask me the dude has good chances, it really seems the only reason he didn't make it to the base game was because his game came out after development began.

@Cal: Darn japanese language and its magic symbols where two Kanjis make a word, rearrange them and you make an entire essay. XD Still, hoping Kirby is alone for the very beginning and you quickly rescue Mario or such to get an ensemble cast.

I don't think those are real master hands. Since when did you ever see Master Hand shrivel up and turn into a mass of blue energy? Since when have there ever been more than one Master Hand? Going by this and other tropes that I've seen in fiction, I think they're probably false Master Hands or something of the sort.

Part of me already wants to calc the MFTL+ feat. And that black hole might be a pretty legit black hole as well. I haven't seen that many black holes in fiction that actually absorb light and distort the space around them like real life black holes do.

I understand... But my policy is that I assume something until proven otherwise. So...

I'm going to say they are real Master Hands unless something severely contradicts it. Like, so severely it leaves no room for doubt for anything more.

The blue things that come out after the skin of the Master Hands fall off look a lot like Tabuu´s hands.

Coincidence? I don´t think so.

I think there's plenty contradicting the idea that each one of those Master Hands is equivalent to the real Master Hand.

For one Master Hand is stated to be THE source of all creation in the Smash Universe, not "one of infinitely many". Plus we see that Galeem only affects an entire Galaxy at best, so as of now that knocks out the possibility that he's taking clones from other universes or anything like that.

Next, like I said earlier, we see Master Hand shrivel up completely and reveal an interior made of blue energy. The last time we saw Master Hand shrivel up was when he revealed the Master Core, which is completely black.

There's also the fact that Master Hand is like...not evil. Crazy Hand, I'd expect to pull a Thanos. But Master Hand? Yes, yes, I know Galeem is responsible for this, but Fox and Marth made it apparent that the cast were intent on destroying the hands.

And the fact that over the course of three games, the cast went from requiring literally everyone to take on a guy who could oneshot Master Hand to suddenly being confident that they can each take out ten Master Hands.

I'll buy it if an official statement comes out and I'm not saying that it's 100% certain they're fake, but I think it's a safer interpretation to lean towards.

I just want to take a moment to acknowledge Sakurai and how much love he's put into this game. He didn't need to include the option to toggle Echo Fighters on and off, he didn't need to include that huge minimalist music menu, he didn't need to include characters like K. Rool who haven't had any relevancy in recent years, and he didn't need to confirm FIVE MORE MAJOR DLC RELEASES to be developed after the game's launch.

He didn't need to do any of that. Heck he even included a Piranha Plant as a playable character just for laughs. The dude's putting his soul into this. In interviews he's confirmed that he confined himself entirely to the offices, slept in office chairs, dealt with severe problems in his hands, and even suffered weight loss. That's how dedicated he is to this game.

Not to mention last month he delayed the Direct with consideration for all of the earthquake victims in Japan who wouldn't be able to watch it due to power outages.

It goes to show that this guy isn't just trying to stay alive by running a company that makes games that sell. He's doing it for us; he's pushing himself to the limit just so nerds worldwide can have fun in their basements. It makes me so proud to support such a company as Nintendo.

It gives you some deep insight into the hardship the devs of all of the bigger games out there have to face during the development process.

And there is really nothing backing up either sides of interpretation other than mere speculation. All we know is that they are used for danmaku and they look like MH's... That's it. So.... Let's agree to disagree about them being equal to the original MH (Though I still think the quote implies they each are far stronger than they were in Smash 4 and Brawl) until offical proof comes out. If it's legit and the MH's we see in World of Light is comparable to the MH we saw from Melee to Brawl... And would back up the meme that Brawl has had (One villian surpassing the other in Adventure Mode : MH ----> Tabuu ----> Then Galeem) ,,, (I don't count Master Core as it isn't offically a form he has in Adventure Mode, just Classic Mode)

Inb4 Captain Falcon (Ultimate) vs Son Goku (Super) threads in the future.

Bandana Dee probably has one of the strongest chances for DLC. He wasn't in the Direct at all so he wasn't a spirit (even if he was, spirits are automatically deconfirmed), not an Assist, which is a bit surprising even after seeing characters like Isaac and Spring Man, and not a Mii costume. He's obviously really popular in Japan and did really well in the Smash ballot. Also, even if BWD is just a "hat goomba" (which he's not), Paranha Plant opened the door for characters based on generic enemies, so whether he is his own character or not is almost irrelevant.
