Merlyn vs El Reverso

The same thing I'll be doing when I put 3-C Yu-Gi-Oh characters with Low 2-C information and power manipulation against Digimon

So, how does Merlyn works? Does he age ala Benjamin Bottom, or is in an unbirth state or see everyone moving and talking backwards? There's no much powers that can affects Reverso.

And how Reverso's powers works too?
 
Not exactly. TIme quite literally flows backwards for him. It's odd how T.H. White describes it, so I'll post a quote:

This is just a match made to give everyone an aneurysm, isn't it? Cause it certainly confuses me to no end how this would work. But does what hax does Merlin have to win here?
 
Not sure how the hax would interact, but:

  • He can instantly transform Reverso into an ant, fish, etc.
  • He can give diseases that would incap Reverso.
  • Reduce Reverso to a child.
BFR to the ocean probably wouldn't work on Reverso, iirc.
 
We need to figure out how their powers would interact, that alone is crucial to figuring out who would win

I can't really say. I posted the quote for Merlyn above; IDK how Reverso's powers function exactly.
 
Yeah, not sure how to does that works, but it seems that Merlyn lives stuff that already happened, the reason why he can not prevent dead is cuz he see someone died when he had no idea of that would happens, and when it met it in the future he can't prevent it cuz it will happen. So basically he see the world moving backwards, but not immediately, like, time rewind any day?

Anyway, Reserso have acausality, so what Merlyn lived may not happen (that reminds me that someone needs to change theacausality type of the Reverso)

Reverso actually doesn't have acasuality as it stands; not sure why they don't have it though, as they clearly have Type 4 and operate on a reversed form of Casuality.

Thing is, Merlin also has acasuality, although it's only Type 1.
 
It's a serious thread, but figuring out how these powers interact is so weird it's almost a joke.
 
I think that, in a timeframe of one day, Merlyn's personal time will run normally, otherwise he wouldn't be able to keep a conversation with anyone for minutes. Problem is that if he is killed he shouldn't have existed in the psoterior days, but since he has acausality that would happens.
 
Meanwhile Reverso is reversed in literally everything he does including performing actions like drinking and talking
 
So Merlyn is like halfway backwards and El Reverso is full backwards


this got infinitely more confusing
