The only remaining fair Mario vs Sonic fight

Goomba has better range, versatility, and I think AP+Durability (I think the rock busting feat was calced but even if it wasn't the Goomba still destroyed it with an uncharged headbonk while Motobug's 9-B comes from scaling to Grounder who broke through a wall and sent the bricks flying which I'd guess is at least a tad bit weaker) but Motobug has better speed (iirc both are baseline for their speeds, so Motobug is like 1.27 times faster), intelligence, and stamina. I'm leaning towards inconclusive here.
 
I'm inclined to see Batmario753's reasoning as reason to vote for Goomba. So I'll do so until, at the very least, the notion of Goomba having higher AP & Durability is disproved with some values being posted.
