Now.

Godzilla's supposed to be 4-B because of this boi but hasn't been yet.

Anyways start.

Speed is =

Fight takes place on a desolate planet with everyone dead, except for one guy.

Who wins?

Godzilla (Composite): 0

Superman (Post-Crisis): 0

Superman's stronger and smarter, and his intangibility and x-ray vision could prove useful. However, Godzilla has a significantly larger arsenal of abilities under his belt. It comes down to whether Superman can locate Godzilla's second brain and destroy it before Godzilla overwhelms Superman with his variety of attacks.

Godzilla scales to a 300 KiloFoe guy.

Superman is around 600 KiloFoe if I'm correct.

So he has twice the AP.

Godzilla isn't jumping tiers no matter what powerups he uses so yes they're allowed

Supes seems to resist the more potent hax Godzilla has, and as long as it's within the same Tier Godzilla can close the AP gap with powerups as long as it doesn't breech the tier itself.

I'll give this to Godzilla. It has much more versatility in its powers, as this will likely turn into a physical beat-em-up. It will amp to Supe's level and possibly beyond that, and it's wide range of powers and abilities will help wear him down.

How much can Godzilla amp at once? He'd need to buff himself pretty significantly to not die before it gets useful, as supes starts at twice his strength.

Considering the buffs themselves are descrbibed as "significantly higher" 2x isn't too crazy of an assumption.

Even then a 2x AP/Dura gap isn't that much, tbh, Even if the amps only go as far as 1.25/1.5 I'd still say Godzilla takes this with pure versatility.

2X to start off with is pretty noticeable. In IRL fights, the combatants probably won't be that far apart. Fights generally end pretty fast, when one person takes a good hit, gets taken to the ground, etc.

Well yes, however you have to take into account the sheer number of abilities Godzilla has.

Regen can prolong the fight enough for the amps to kick in.

Teleporation helps Godzilla avoid a melee fight, especially when paired with instinctive reaction.

It can just negate ranged attacks, to add onto that.

Godzilla resists extreme tempretures, which is what Supe's ranged attacks mostly consist of.

Reactive Evolution can help lessen blows after the first.

Energy Absorption also helps with the heat vision.

Supes doesn't resist acids and poison, which Godzilla has plenty of.

Resists Space Manip, which is one of Supes' more potent haxes.

I can go on. A 2x gap isn't nearly enough for this match to be said and done off of strength alone. Versatility encompasses far more than just variety of abilities and techniques, it is how they can be applied to give advantages in situations like this.

Couldhave sworn superman has some sort of feat of resisting acid/poison, but the other stuff sounds fair enough. Guess I'll go with Godzilla FRA.

The amping argument could easily be pulled by Supes by taking a sundive. And, if it gets too rough, Supes might BFR... Though then again, the thought never really occurred when fighting Doomsday or anyone else who was beating him up, so I dunno about that end of it.

Supes would get amped by sunbathing and stop feeding Goji after he sees it's powering him up.

We could take this in circles round and round.

And then he'll be drifting in space forever and end up inevitably self BFRing.

With easily destructible Gear,I believe.

Godzilla has his own methods of traveling through. In addition, it would be unlikely for Superman's character to suddenly stop fighting Godzilla and let something like him just drift through space.

Possibly

though the method and timeframe for this is unknow
Right cool

If he gets Earth in Collateral Supes is going to be throughly mad enough to just punch him into the depths of space.

I doubt superman can even land a hit on Godzilla with instinctive reaction, teleportation, and projectile negation.

If Supes tries to go to the sun, the sun's out of commission. Add in energy absorption and resistance to heat and even with a 2x gap his ranged attacks will do jack.

Superman isn't getting near Godzilla with teleportation and speed equalization.

Supes being mad doesn't change how throughly outclassed he is in versatility.

Doesn't he usually just tank hits instead of go MIGATTE NO GOJI or Teleport spam, though?

Supes is a lot more likely to just punch him instead of blast him with Heat vision, especially considering how ineffective it'll end up being.

Got to do other stuff so won't reply for awhile

Punching is going to be hella difficult if Goji is allowed to become Burning Mode, which not only makes him overcome that AP gap, but Nuclear Pulses will keep Supes away.

"Just punch"

Instinctive reaction

Teleportation

Godzilla wouldn't need to even think about dodging the hits.

Wouldn't nuclear pulses actually amp superman? He's amped by stars, and that is how they work: Constant nuclear reaction.

Godzilla probably wouldn't want to become burning.
